I wanted to close a thread in Price Check, but i also wanted to keep my text in its first post.
It used to be, remove all text and put *** closed by op *** in the first post.
Then i read this in tha new Rules;
Closing Threads:
* Use the Closed prefix to indicate a thread is closed (all sections of Ventari's).
o Do not edit the rest of the thread title to indicate the thread is closed. Leave it as is.
However, when editing my first post in my Thread i cant find anything about prefixes, neither in Advanced mode.
So, this prefixes thing, has it not been implemented yet for all Ventari subforums, and/or for posts created before the prefixes update?!
Closed prefix ?!

It looks as though there is no Closed prefix in PC yet (not sure if it will be added? *Looks at JR*).
Just as a tip, we didn't actually require people to delete the contents of their PC posts and write ***CLOSED***. All that we ask is that people wait 24 hours between making new posts.

3. Multiple Threads
* You may have only one open thread per Ventari's section at any given time:
Price Check, Sell, Buy, Services Offered, Seeking Services, and Giveaways.
I wanted to close the topic so i can make a new one if wanted, and the topic served its purpose, so it doesnt need to be Open anymore anyway.

i little bit off topic, but will the closed prefix be implemented in all forum sections? and will we be able to use the sort function to quickly locate all threads tagged as closed in all forum sections?
Jenn
I locked your thread, dagrdagaz .
@ Eragon: Do you mean all Ventari's forums, or every forum on guru?
If you just mean all Ventari's forums, the Closed prefix is available in all of them (except PC and Trader's).
Note that when a thread gets the locked icon , it doesn't automatically get the "Closed" prefix, though in Ventari's, I'm sure many will make use of it.

I managed to close this one from Buy but I cannot close this one from PC. Problem = no closed prefix in PC for me.
Now if I want to do another PC and not get a warning what do I do?

Ask and ye shall receive.
As for closed prefixes throughout the whole forum... If I can find a way to make it an automatic consequence of closing a thread I'd certainly consider it.
