Wondering if anyone knows much about it...
I have Version:3.2.2 or the latest version.
Why will it only record 28-30 second videos?
Someone said you can make them 'loop', when one file ends another will open and continue your video. Which would be ok although I would like to make some videos for some guildys. Posting multiple links will be a pain.
Anywho...
I have nothing checked in any tab, besides one that says 30FPS and Full-Size.
P.S.
Currently there must me a crash bug with it or something...
I have crashed like 10 times

The free trial version of FRAPS will only allow recording for 30 seconds, or at least that was the limit last time I checked. The licensed version does not have that restriction, unless you don't have the storage space available or some other problem.

I use WeGame to record in Guild Wars. I've recorded up to 35 minutes before I stopped it. It is free beta software, and it also requires free registration and an active internet connection.

I use xfire to record video with. If you got the processor and hard drive to back it up it can do it. I have recorded a 45 minute battle with it.

Remember, using recording softwares like these is extremely demanding on your CPU and GPU, not just your GPU. The load increase in the CPU is actually substantially higher than in the GPU, so, keep that in mind when deciding if you can use one. (It's also HDD intensive, so make sure you have a decent speed HDD before attempting to use a program like FRAPS)

I have this habit of buying licenses for products I really like. $37 for FRAPS, but really worth it, IMO.

I don't record enough ingame video to make it worth it. One or two a year.
Age
You could always use game cam no sound for free version.

it's actually reasonably light on the hard drive side. i've recorded 2048x1152 videos at 30 fps, and my WD caviar green 640 kept up easily.
