Hey,

My bank is frequently overladen with health runes of various types, so I might as well use or sell them. But I cant decide

Would it be recommended to use survivor runes on heroes, or are there better prefixes I could use? (I only really tend to use my discord heroes anyway)

As for vigor runes, do they sell much in kamadan? (Yes, I know I can use the forum to sell too, eventually...) Ive got mostly minors, and a couple majors.

Thanks for any advice in advance,
Dorny

i've got mostly survivor insignias on my discord heroes to give em high health. tis is because they don't really need high energy due to thier soul reaping and they are often under SY so they don't really need high armor.

as for vigor runes, u can just throw minors on your heroes unless you have spare majors to put on em.

as for selling them, trying to seel minor and vigor runes to people isn't going to be very profitable, they only worth a few plat. the only one i would worry about seeling to real people is a superior vigor if you find one that you want to sell.

I used all the minors and majors on the heroes I got. Believe me, Discord and Sabway are oftenly too easy and boring making. In the future you will probably want to run more fun builds including warriors/paragons/mesmers and w/e, so I just runed them all with what I found. As for what insignia's are best for heroes.. Mostly survivor and radiant, depending on their build and how oftenly they are at low energy. Only heroes I give something different are when I use them oftenly for a specific build (warrior with +13 strenght for example, or the gloves for extra knockdown) or for a specific run (I used a ranger for SoO runs and such things).

As for how much they sell. Minor and Major runes are not oftenly sold by players because they are not so expencive anyway. People tend to buy them from the trader. So you better just merch them when you no longer need them, otherwise go like 1k-500g under the price that the trader sells them for. But mostly people only buy superior vigor runes from players.

Hope this helped

You can always check prices for items that traders sell yourself.

Example: rune of minor vigor.
- Go to the rune trader
- Check what the 'buy' price of the rune is (example: 2k)
- Check what the 'sell' price of the rune is (example: 1k)
- Player prices will logically always be between buy and sell price (example: 1.5k)

If player price were above 2k, people would buy from trader instead of players. If player price were below 1k, people would sell to trader instead of players. At a price between trader buy and sell, both sellers and buyers have a profit compared to selling to or buying from the trader.

The same goes for any trader item (dye, materials).

There isn't much of a market for minor and major Vigor runes. Unless you think you may use them someday, and have the storage space, it's best to sell them to a Rune Trader.
As far as what to put on your heroes goes, that's very much a matter of personal taste, but I generally use Survivors and Radiants on heroes.

I usually use Survivor insignias on caster heroes and Radiant otherwise. At least according to the descriptions of AI targeting algorithms I've read on the wiki, this helps encourage enemies to target melee instead of casters.

Survivor Insignias and Vigor Runes would work for your Discordway Necroes if they don't have it all ready. Otherwise, you can sell to other players or the rune trade for hassle free trading.
