As traders, we all operate in public under the assumption that everything has its price. This is an assumption that we subscribe to and try to popularize for our own financial benefit. It is an assumption, however, that we often don't actually live by in private. Many of us are also collectors and -- beyond that -- some of us even have that one special item that is simply not for sale. Please don't post giant pics of entire collections. Everyone's already seen them and you're already as famous as you're going to be for having all of those things. This thread isn't about your collection.
This thread is about your undying, passionate, quasi-pathological love for that one item that you won't sell, no matter what. It is the kind of love that a run-of-the-mill collector just wouldn't understand.
If there's a story attached to your special item, feel free to tell it! And please feel free to decorate the picture of your item with hearts (<3), smoochies (:*), and other signs of your affection. Otherwise, how will your item ever know exactly how you feel about it??
