Something wrong with Guild Wars support?

First of all, I'm new here so hey
Well, I tried contacting the GW support via email for about two weeks.
trouble is, looks like they can't get my emails.
I emailed to [email protected].
My email was returned to me and it said:
Quote:
This is an automated message from the BorderWare MXtreme Mail Firewall
at host smtp1.guildwars.com.

The message returned below could not be delivered to its intended
destinations.

For further assistance, please send mail to <[email protected]>.
and so, I sent an email to this postmaster thingie and they never contacted me back.
I'm starting to feel negelcted :|
Is this problem happening just to me or it's something wrong with them?
I too, like a lot of people, reinstalled GW after a few years and couldn't remember any character name... I really want to get back to the game, it was really great, but I was away for three years..

It's possible they have an error with their email support. Or it might be on your end.

You can always use the web support option instead from here: http://www.guildwars.com/support/

Try the NCSoft support form:

http://help.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ncsof...nduser/ask.php

I've never had any problems or delays with that^ even though it all probably goes through the same system .

there are lots of people asking support for their accounts back due to the bannings, so i'd wait for the whole thing to die down in case you get stuck with automated responses every time

I just got that same response from trying to send mail to them today. I would recommend just sending them a message through the browser rather than trying to email them. I've already gotten a response that way.

I sent the question through the browser and already got an answer. Funny I didn't think of trying that earlier :P
All good now!
Thanks!

As a rule of thumb it's often much easier to contact support via the website than by direct e-mail. A lot safer too.

I have the same issue I forgot my character name. Used the web support on the ncsoft site Friday morning and was told later Friday night someone was working on the issue. I filled out the question part identical to the example with name address cd key all that good stuff. I have yet to hear from them. Any one know what the hold up could be or what's the normal lead time on this issue.

I too recently started playing again (while looking forward to GW2) after not having done so in more than 2 years. Didn't remember much except an estimate of my last login-date and some char-names I might had used. Not even my email I had to log in with.

It took some emailing back and forth to get it fixed but I've got my account back. Had to give some additional information (keys used, where I lived, ..) though. Waiting for a response never took longer than 2 days and every response was polite and very helpfull.

I send a mail to the [email protected] -address. An account at the on-site -support (guildwars.com>support>website support) was made for me, which I then updated with my new questions or the answers to theirs. (This updating could be done via automated email or at the site itself by logging in. At the site it explains itself. In the mail i had to type my response between two green lines. Also kinda explained itself if you read it through.) Responses came both via email and the online support-account. (same responses at the same time) This all took place about two weeks ago.

I myself am/was very content with the support.

(In short; use the website-support)
