Wanted! Repeating?
Puddin Cheeks
Have we seriously killed all of the WiK bosses already?
If thats the case, don't repeat, give us more of the story quests than turning this in to the ever dying zaishen bounty sign!
pretty plz.

You have to admit, it is kind of a let down to complete the riverside assassination mission then have to just sit and wait for more story a week or so later.
Its almost like they are holding the hands of the slow players so they won't get left behind.

Yeah! and for that matter make us an all new god realm and Xunlai marketplace and Dervish/Paragon updates and....
seriously, be happy with all the new stuff we have at the moment.

Keep the cycle for the duration of the WiK as it exists now, and thank you for the [b]new areas, new challenging foes, new storyline, new mission(s) (Riverside Assassination), new weapons (to come), new minis, and a new way to get consumables (Royal Gifts). It's nice to get new content for a game I haven't bought an expansion for since EoTN pre-order.
Puddin Cheeks, understand that it takes significantly less time to have pre-existing content cycle than creating entirely new quests and missions. There is a nice snippet by Gaile I think from '07 that explained how many people, and how much time it took to complete a few of the quests. If anyone has that link, please post =)

I was a bit surprised that it's cycled already, but not disappointed. They've been pretty good about pushing new content through in a timely manner. We won't finish the cycle again before the story progresses, I'm sure.

I'm quite happy it's repeating. Not everyone can participate every day. I'm quite happy for the cycling bounties

Would you rather the whole WiK was one update that everybody beats the day it comes out? A lot of people prefer the game has continual content, even if that includes filler, it's better than giving the playerbase a big update all at once because the next day they'll just be asking for something new.

Tenagg Flametroller still rules. And for the record, the wanted quests repeating is completely fail. There are still other bosses they could have written into the quest rotation, which relative to making new weapons cant be all that much work. Its due to an understaffed Live Team, which is due in part to the F2P business model and the focus being on GW2.
It's decent as far as free content goes, but even the ancient D2 is doing updates. But Anet is far smaller and doesn't have other cashcows like Blizzard. This is the price you pay with Anet.

Thanking someone for something they gave you For FREE seems too hard of a concept for the self entitled lot that seem to be multiplying faster and faster.
Please link for us where exactly they owed you a damn thing for THEIR 5th B-day.

i think they roll all bosses before recycle, i dont kown all bosses, but i kown they miss at last one boss... maybe they want one more row, before release the new real content

You're kidding right? This is a nice addition, but do you realize it was supposed to be the 5th Anniv content barely ANY of it came out during that anniv? Yeah this is nice for a free deal, but its not unheardof for an old game to get free content updates.

Is it possible they skipped bosses that only appear on a shared spawn point, for the same reason that Zaishen bounties don't include many Prophecies bosses?
Puddin Cheeks
LOL, i love how this somehow turned into me being a troller thread. I was only making a suggestion and you guys get up in arms about it.
We already have zaishen bounties, right? They even ctrl+v that, did you see the bug that said zaishen bounty on the wanted sign. I mean these guys ctrl+v lots of stuff and you praise the ground they walk on.
Yes programming is tricky and takes time, so don't waste time on cons and summoning stones plx. Hell before too long, everytime you log into guild wars you get a free set of party, drunk and sweet tooth points.
I am just looking at this like someone who was here at the beginning. They weren't worried about hand holding the gimptards back then!

There are only so many Peacekeeper and Mantle bosses available... Salma doesn't want you to kill some random ass skale boss, because it has nothing to do with the War in Kryta. That's why they are repeating. Did you expect ANET to make 5 bajillion bosses and place them all over Kryta just for a single aspect of the War in Kryta? Yeh, no....

Not much else to add to this, really. As others have stated, we're getting fresh content for free. Late or not, I don't see what the big deal is. As for the quest rotation, it was bound to happen sooner or later.
At the very least, GW players should be grateful EA doesn't run Guild Wars; we'd see credit card fields before leaving an outpost and Norgu's idle comments would involve Pepsi and KFC.
Neo Nugget
I have absolutely no problem with the bounty quests repeating.
I don't see how it's hand holding either. If it was released in one single update, you'd have people complain about the content being over too quickly.

To all the people saying Anet owes us nothing and jumping on my back...well that is their business model. No they don't owe anyone a damn thing, and then you can watch every legitimate MMO player lol at Anet when they release GW2 and never go near it with a 10 foot pole.
And frankly, there are several other F2P MMO's that do regular content updates, so Anet is no godsend in that regard either. Stop defending Anet like its' some kind of revolutionary thing. It's a company plain and simple. This is part of their business model and necessary to get good publicity so they can push out GW2. That is all, it has nothing to do with Anet being so dam "magnanimous" as some of you tend to say in praising them.
If Linsey getting sick set this whole thing back a month, then something is wrong with how work is assigned and delegated. And last time I got sick, I still did what I had to. Excuses are OK, but not when Anet is consistently lagging behind. Whatever happened to 2 months for skill updates?

I know there are more bosses ( and they dont share spawn points), but look at the zaishen bounties---there are TONS more bosses for that and only 60 some were picked (and the majority of those from eye)....so if you look at it that way, there were not going to include all of the bosses---so we shouldnt have even thought they would.
just happy that they gave us something new to do for a week.

The Live Team is planning on introducing as many bosses for WiK bounties as there are events in GW2. Thousands of 'em. True story.
Eragon Zarroc
has it cycled through all the possible new bosses already? O_O

I'm surprised the content is repeating its self. I figured they would just take out the signpost in the keep and move forward with the storyline. The same old bounties represent stagnation, just get rid of them and lets get salma to the throne.

A friend and I beat EotN the day it was released. I remember being a little disappointed at first but the addictional (spelled wrong on purpose) PvE only skills and titles kept me busy for a while. I can see how being spoon-fed content is frustrating to folks who've already done everything though.
If there's gonna be some new gold weapons then that'll keep me interested! Unless they stick with the uninscribable junk.

Also all the bosses there was to kill were there from day one of the event, they aren't quests spawns they are always there - unlike the higher ranking bosses that only spawn when you have the quest.
Benderama
i'm fine with it, gave up on the wanted anyway, killing all those foes in HM isn't worth 4 war supplies imo XD
Yol
I have no problem with the list being cycled. I'm planning on vanquishing Kryta on a few of my characters soon, and knowing when these bounties will come up will help me in my timetabling. There's no point in vanquishing an area today when there's going to be a bounty for killing a boss there the tomorrow. It's always nice to get some extra goodies while doing something that you were going to do anyway
samspoker
With both Divinity Coast explorable and D'Alessio Seaboard explorable opened up with bosses, I suspect we'll see some bounties in those areas.
(D'Alessio is fun. If you make it to the end you'll discover the fate of the pig from the mission cut-scene. Also, bring Frozen Soil.)
Perhaps Gates of Kryta explorable is next.

What I'm worried about is that now we're having a lot more undeads than before, in kryta. If Salma needs again me to kill the same persons I killed already it certainly means they've been called back from death

I would love to see more mission area's be explorable like this. Also pretty handy for people doing cartagropher. No need for those long repeating missions
Raven Wing
I feel convinced that this small cycle of bounty bosses wont be repeating forever. With more WiK stuff unrolling there will be more bosses and others to be included in bounties.
Also, even when Salma gains power enough to promote herself to queen and official ruler of Kryta it doesnt mean the war has to end. There might still be large areas controlled by mantle and peace keeper gangs rampaging around everywhere. Plenty of opportunies for a future queen Salma to hand out bounties^^

I doubt we'll ever see an "end" to the War (ie. areas rolled back to their previous state, no more Mantles and Peacekeepers around, and such), that wouldn't make any sense.

Yawgmoth
There are lots and lots of White Mantle bosses spawned throughout all the areas, I expected many more of them to get their bounties. Seriously, it wouldn't be much more trouble to add a larger variety of those bounties as they don't require anything else than copying existing ones and setting different targets. They wouldn't need special spawns like the Inquisitor bouties do.
Ofcourse this is not the end of war and we will surely see some more content, especially given that at least 2 whole explorable areas filled with new White Mantle spawns haven't seen even 1 quest at all. I expect D'Alessio Seaboard explorable to get a mission-like qyest like Riverside Assassination - the layout and spawns of the area make perfect sense for something like that.

Has anyone else noticed the WiK bounty for today was the same bounty that was 2 days ago? I'm pretty sure Insatiable Vakar (today's bounty) was last available on saturday. I'm not complaining about killing the guy (I really don't care about the quests repeating), but it seems extremely odd that this happened instead of just the entire list of bounties repeating.
