DOA imba and monk help
Night Life

I've gone through once on NM as an imbagon, and it was my first time in DoA, but it was really pretty simple, just followed the group - usually someone will tell you when/when not to take a quest - and spam SY & TNTF.
I found that I didn't really need to do anything else, the rits took care of killing, the monks healed... and I spammed 2 skills. Felt like half of my skill bar was useless.

Imba
I don't always run this build, but the one on PvX gets the job done: DoA DwGway
As stated above, you should be spamming "TNtF" and "SY". Spam "GftE" to get back energy and to help with "ToF" and Blazing Finale.
Use Blazing Finale on each of the DwG's + yourself. With Blaze on yourself use GO for the Eyes and Vicious Attack to set everything on fire. (remember possistioning for this.
Lastly, keep focused Anger up at all times + use LB sig to gain energy and Charge SY quickly. (LB sig + SY at the start of a fight)
Other tips:
If your monks/SoS aren't doing their job and keeping hexes off you, ping them like crazy and yell at your monks. If you don't, then your team will yell at you for not spamming shouts.
Keep an eye on what is happening for your first few runs. Learn when people are taking quests, how the mobs move around etc.
Do not die! Your keeping the team alive, and you don't have SY on you. Unless you know what your doing, play safe. I like to play an aggressive playstyle, pulling mobs and setting fires, but PuGs might rage at you.
btw, this is a PuG build, so expect the usual pug crap:
- afking without notice
- pulling extra mobs
- over extending (not all DwGs are in shout range)
- taking a quest before people are ready
Monk
I don't really monk DoA anymore, as I find it easy to lead a group as an Imba (and people I know don't let me not run Imba), so I can't give you much here but:
If you are HB, make sure you copy UA and keep it always! If the UA drops, res him right away and copy the skill again.
UA - res! soon as someone dies, instant res them.
watch the para for hexes, if he/she can do their job, healing will be a LOT easier for you.
Watch the field and seed the DwG that runs in first.

Basically, read what's said above ^^, and do the following:
1. On para, bitch like a wild horse if you are slapped with vocal minority. Tell your monks to get rid of the hex immediately.
2. On monk, make sure to prot spirit those DWG who love to aggro the most. Then cast "Seed of life". Most fights will end before SoL runs out. Monking is pretty easy with prot spirit on the bar.

DoA is little tricky on your 1st and 2nd run as you won't really know what to do but like Ewon said just stick with the team and you'll be fine. As Ewon covered the Para side of things pretty well I'll just give a few tips for the Monk side, this mainly comes from stuff I’ve observed in DoA and what I feel does and doesn't work for me:
1) Spam Seed of Life, it'll keep your party up 90% of the time and takes ALOT of pressure off of you and the other Monk.
2) Some groups like to all run into a mob all at once, I don't. When they all run in together you end up with 3 or more people going instantly to 25% - 50% health within a single hit and it becomes near impossible to keep them all up. Most groups will let one person, usually the party leader, run forward and pull the mob to you. If they do this *always* cast SoL on him before he goes or just as he's getting the mob, again it will keep your party alive. If a group starts all running in together try to explain to them that’s its easier and quicker if one person pulls the mob.
3) Keep an eye of the radar to see what everyone is doing; people like to over extend. In most instances they will run away start getting raped and by the time you've caught up to them to heal they're dead. Oh and 99.9% of the time it will be your fault /sarcasm.
4) Don't be afraid to ask whether of not to take a quest or what to do/where to go.
Once you get the hang of DoA it becomes a little easier. It really depends on the groups you have and how experienced they are however. If you're interested in doing DoA a lot then join a SC guild because then you will be with experienced people.

As the UA or HB monk, coordinate before you start on who is casting Seed first. That skills works great on lead damage dealer if it is run back to back.
The UA needs to rez immediatley.
HB keep a copy of UA up when ever possible.
The LB signet is all the energy you need. To use - move close into the bad guys and cast. Boom, you are set on energy again. I can't stand it when the other monk keeps running out of energy because they didn't bring LB or don't know how to use it.

This. Same goes for Soothing Images. Your job as Imba is to spam your shouts. SY is your friend. If you can't shout, you might as well not be there.
My bad, brought up an old thread...sry all.
