Did today's update introduce a crash bug? Since it uploaded, I keep getting the unable to connect to server message.

If you're getting an unable to connect error, that wouldn't be a crash bug.
What exact error are you getting? Is it the error you get when you try to load up Guild Wars or just log in to your account?

Could be a corrupted .dat file.
Could be your firewall. I know someone else that started having issues with his firewall today after the update.
