This is probably the third or fourth post where a lot of you go...who is this guy lol
I am not seeing a good amount of hit damage
My strength is 11
My swordsmanship 12
The sword that I use requires 9 swordsmanship damage 15-22
I keep attacking with a 7,9 10 for normal attacks is that normal?

It depends on the armor rating of your foe as well as on your damage rating.

If you play with heroes equip one of them with "Judge's Insight" -> http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Judge%27s_Insight - they are pretty good at casting it when it's needed.

Obviously it's best on a monk primary you can just spend whatever points the hero have left in Smiting Prayers.

Base damage of pretty much all weapons r crap.

U need to use skills that do xtra damage.
Or improve how u do damage, like increased attack spead, more adrenaline gain so u can use adrenaline skills more often, etc.

Yeah, that's fairly normal. It's not of the greatest concern though; most of your damage will come from you spamming attacks (DSlash, WE Scythe/Axe, etc), buffs from other team members (Order of Pain/Vampire, Strength of Honor, Splinter Weapon, Dark Fury, etc), and physical damage triggers (Mark of Pain). Once you get heroes you can start fiddling around with these to help pump the damage up.
