Stances activate immediately (no cast time). You can only have 1 stance active at a time (activating a new stance cancels the one you are in). Certain attacks can remove stances from the enemy.

how dagger attacks work (i tried them but instead of dmg it said miss)
|
Dagger attacks usually have a prerequisite. Most of the time, a dagger chain will start with a
lead attack, follow with an
offhand attack and end with a
dual attack. Carefully read the skill descriptions of your attack skills. Usually,
offhand attacks will say "
Must follow a lead attack." This means you have to hit the target with a
lead attack first (if you don't hit with the
lead attack, for instance by being blocked, it doesn't count) and can then use the
offhand attack. Sometimes,
offhand attacks can be used without a
lead attack, or must be used after a
dual attack, or have another different prerequisite. Just carefully read the skill description to find out how they work.

how does armor affect dmg?
|
All damage that is not armor ignoring is affected by an armor rating. Armor ignoring damage is holy damage or untyped damage for example. All damage descriptions are based on a target with 60 armor. A target with 100 armor will only take half as much damage as a target with 60 armor, and a target with 140 armor will only take a quarter of the damage a target with 60 armor would take. Read the article on 'armor rating' on the wiki to see complete armor rating tables.

what are titles titles and do they give a gameplay advantage
|
Titles are gained by achieving a certain result in game. A protector title, for example, is gained by completing all missions in a campaign on master level / with the bonus. Some titles, such as reputation titles, give certain gameplay advantages. The skill linked to those titles increase in their effectiveness when you achieve a higher rank in that title. Other titles are purely for cosmetic effect / bragging rights. An example is the sweet tooth title. This title does not give you any advantages in game (other than counting towards the 'maxed titles' title).
