I have a ATI 5850 Card, DirectX11, so i dont see anything that it dont works.
Checked all things with the in-game Graphics - Nothing .
Re-downloaded it - Nothing .

1) unzip it and whatever mod files im using into the Guild Wars folder
2) make a shortcut of texmod and send it to desktop.
3) Run texmod NOT gw.exe
4) click to highlight the mod you want to use..
5) Choose the exe of the file you want to run the mod with. (in this case gw.exe)
If you only want to run GW without the mods, then just run gw.exe.
If you do want the mods then run texmod.
Keep in mind that this will eat up resources on your pc more than usual cause the machine has to do extra processing on the fly.
Beware, there are some mods out there that are malicious and even if they dont trash your system they could get you banned from the game for running them. Use it at your own risk. In general, dont use any mod that is not officially sanctioned by Anet.
Good Luck.

A little more information might be useful though. Which file for your mod did you download? Is it a .tpf file and which one? Some mods are outdated and won't work anymore with the new build.
And depending if it is a certain skin mod for your armor or weapon, your armor or weapon must match the exact same as the one used by the modder. Or else nothing will show up.
Make sure when you open Texmod that GW isn't already running. Then select GW.exe from the large folder button and then go to the small folder button and select your .tpf file. When it is in the list, click the Run button at the bottom. Make sure you are in Package Mode when you do all this as well.
As well, if there is an update while you are running Texmod, you'll have to restart GW to have the changes take effect. Otherwise, you'll see nothing. And if you're running Vista, check to see if GW is being run with Administrator Privledges. If it is, then Texmod needs to be ran with Administrator Privledges as well.
Hope that helps

some anti-virus programs will raise hell with texmod also. don't think that is the issue here, but just throwing that out as well.

Isn't TexMod Direct X 9 only? Jus sayin.

dont think thats much of an issue as DirectX is always backwards compatible unless you are play a game that is ancient, like DX5 or something.. if it runs in DX9, it will most likely run in DX10 and 11 too. Any issues other than that are probably OS compatibility issues.. not DX..

solved - problems were in the multi launch gw thing, got 2 copy's of gw, an the one i used texmod with was the wrong one
