I tried to post a thread last night selling items in Ventari's sell section. However, today it is sill not showing up in the forums. I'm fairly sure I followed all the rules of the forum and I haven't been banned. Is this common? If I did something improperly how do I find out what I did wrong so that I can refrain from doing it in the future?

Thanks in advance,
ApolloIV

Be sure to read all the ventari rules for one thing if you haven't yet. And it seems you know how to post a thread, this thread being evidence, so you may have thought it posted but it didn't work? idk. Are you looking in the right place? Btw, you should have posted this thread in Site Feedback

Thanks for the response. I was debating which forum to put this thread in... still chose the wrong one; my apologies. Maybe I'll just try posting it again, maybe my connection failed it has been a bit sketchy lately...

You cant 'ban' a thread and they generally dont delete them, they close them. Chances are it was caught in the spam filter, just wait a bit and see. If it was caught wrongly then a mod will fix it eventually.

I know, but I thought I might be banned for some sort of infraction of the rules... double posting or something... I dunno, I'm new here.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll wait a bit more before posting again.

99.9% chance it will be this. Sometimes the spam filter catches good threads. Usually mods will find it in a day and approve it (it'll show up), if not just PM a mod of that section.

Note: The spam filter will leave you alone once you reach 10 posts. Just bear with it until then. Apologies for the trouble.

EDIT: You won't get banned for double posting.

Your thread was approved at 21:24, 20th Jun 2010 kaasbrood (21 minutes after you posted here). There are certain triggers that can lead to threads/posts being held in a moderation queue. I don't know what the trigger is, but it's security-based and doesn't affect legitimate posters very often.

Sorry for the brief inconvenience
