Help me please

Hey there,
I've been struggling to get through the Gate of Pain mission and I just CAN'T seem to accomplish it.
I'm an assassin with spam skills only so i can't fight decently without dying instantly becaues of Dreadfull Pain.
Also my heroes suck so they're pretty useless too (except for interrupters).
Basicly what I need, is someone or a few people who can help me get through this horrible mission as I've tried it for over 30 times already!
My build:
Jagged Strike, Wild Strike, Moebius Strike, Death Blossom, Horns of the Ox, Critical Agility, Critical Defenses, Critical Eye.
Please somebody help me out!

You should have fetched your question here if you wanted general advice or here if you were specifically looking for a group.
If your heroes are that bad, I recommend you check PvX or the Heroes & AI section for ideas on what to improve there. As for your build, just stop spamming things mindlessly. Take Disrupting Stab or something for an interrupt on a key skill here or there, and load up some other skills that have long durations and recharges.
Oh, and Lightbringer's Gaze is always a nice tool to have to combat most things in that area.

Interrupts are good for the Terrorweb Dryders' [[Meteor Shower]. Bring more healing than usual for Dreadful Pain and don't spam so much.
Dame Laureline
Be sure to take a protection Monk and a healer Monk (Kihm and Mhenlo as henchmen). Odurra as henchman and any warrior or ranger (as henchman/hero) could interrupt most of the meteor showers.
Also superior rune of vigor, runes of vitae and survivor insignia should help. Be sure to not take superior runes of [profession attribute] as you'll get -75 health.

So you got 'til there and your heores still suck? Ok, like others said, get some decent build for them or either look for a group. If your build works so badly for that mission just change it, if you do that mission with a minimum of reasoning and not just spamming (and spamming in this mission is really the worst thing you can do) it's a very easy one.
I wouldn't recommend Lightbringer's gaze if your problem are the dryders, as they aren't affected by it. Instead, if you happen to have EotN Pain inverter is great against them. Otherwise just bring some good interrupter and they become almost harmless kittens.Odurra is not bad at this, like others said you should consider bringing her. If you still keep having health issues bring 3 monks instead of just 2 (or ritualists or whatever you use to heal/prot).

The main thing is to be careful with the dryders, aside from those it's not too hard.
So make sure kill off any Torment creatures first so you won't get additional aggro, next spread your casters out so they don't ball up, flag your melee a little ahead of them (also spread out) and then you go pull and you should be able to do it. Spells like protective spirit and ward against elements are really useful here (on heroes) and as mentioned above interrupts as well.
You'll find additional tips here -> http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Gate_of_Pain
But I bet you'll enjoy the next mission - I believe it's the hardest normal mission in any of the campaigns.

My main problem are the mobs, since my heroes suck they have lots of trouble to defeat mobs. Terrorweb Dryders are completely harmless tho, I got 2 heroes with 7 interrupt skills. The Torture Webs can also be difficult because for some reason he doesn't get interrupted that often resulting in a huge damage blast killing me with 1 attack along side with half my team :/
I suppose I could try to get some other skills instead of the spamming build. And I also indeed have the superior runes on my armor (the -75 health ones) so that's a problem too ^^.
I got lightbringer rank 2 so I don't have Lightbringer's Gaze yet :/ but anyway I'll try to do it again with your help in mind.
Thanks!

Take a monk hero with Vigorous Spirit and Protective Bond, let him cast both on yourself. This should take care of Dreadful Pain and the hard hitting elementalist skills. Be sure to take the brunt of the damage while under protective spirit, so the rest of the party stays alive. Be sure to either interrupt Meteor Shower or have the enemies cast it on you while you move away from the party.

If you just bring rupts for the dryders then you should be able to easily complete it.

Hehe I didn't see your message on time Scorpion Boy but I happened to saw you standing there and I laughed at your name ^^
Anyway I've done the mission now! I died like 5 times tho but I did it!

Ask him in the next post requesting help for the next mission. That one, while easy with the right group and tactics, is damn near impossible without.

I changed my build to: Jagged Strike, Disrupting Stab, Wild Strike, Lotus Strike, Death Blossom, Twisting Fangs, Malicious Strike, Critical Eye.
I took 2 interrupt heroes and made them lock onto their target, along with them I took Dunkoro, 2 hench monks, a warrior and a ranger henchman.
I was amazed about the quality of healing, they did a pretty well damn job!
And yes, I've tried the next mission with the millions of Margonites I have to pass (with the lovely environment effect of slowing everything down and 40% more energy cost) and I'm also struggling on this one ^^. I tried it twice or so but after that I went to do something else ^^.
Anyone got some good tips for this mission?

If for this mission, you may want to bring more healing than you normally would bring again. For the portals, you'll want to clear out the patrols before going for the rifts.
For Lich and Shiro, Lich is easier to kill so you'll want to kill him first. If you want the bonus, now is the time to get it. Then for Shiro, you'll want something to end Battles scars, and since you're an Assassin, you can use [[Wild Strike].

Well I'm guessing that you mean a gate where you have to talk to someone in the town to start the mission and I don't have that yet, I'm doing the quest to come there kinda.

I've reached Gate of Madness now and to be quite honest, how can they expect from you to first kill ~200 monsters and then 2 bosses which get remarkbly strong when they are at 25% of their health :/

Told ya
Look at the wiki page, there are tons of hints.
I recently did it and I the only thing I had a problem with was those damn Titans (the pain ones I think).
Lich is easy, Shiro can be lured and easily disposed off if you use a stance remover and give your mesmer Empathy.

The Lich isn't strong. You have to kill it three times at the end of prophecies, and he is easier to defeat than the mobs with three spark of titans.
About usual monsters, the key is to not aggro more than one group. Melee characters like yours should be cautious to not attack them, but to pull them with a longbow or a flatbow, then withdraw. You can easily avoid to have more than one group if you're doing well.

If you want me to help you right now, send me a PM here with your name and what district you are at.

If you're careful, watch the patrols and not overaggro you can dispose of the groups in your path without too much trouble. Just be very very careful at it, especially with the small elonian titans that deal a lot of damage, try to take the big titans one at a time (in the portals part you can really do it if you wait patiently for them to disperse before pulling). Lightbringer gaze here is very useful. And kill the wraiths before the last foe in the group is dead, otherwise you will have the group spawning again.
For the Shiro and Lich part, do the bonus even if you don't need it (I feel as if wiki talking now) because the shrine bonuses help greatly. The lich is easy, take him far from shiro if you can can and just kill him normally, he doesn't have any special power. Shiro is another story, personally I had to do this mission twice because of Shiro (and I had him defeated already in Cantha!) but if you do things right he shouldn't be much of a trouble. Take him on the door and flag all your part back, so that he only aggroes you, or another melee with more defenses if you want, so that Shiro only aggroes that one and healing can e concentrated, as when impossible odds triggers you really need much healing. In my opinion the difficult part is drop him down the last 10% health, but if your party bring health degen it's done. Also blinding helps against him.

If you're having trouble go to GWW or GuildWiki and look up the missions and quests and they'll normally have advice on how to beat it.

Gate of madness is pretty simple if you remember one lame thing. Park your heroes outside where shiro is and bring a SoS rit. Wait untill Shiro will use his deadliest skill when he is around 25% of his health and use Pain inverter so he can commit suicide. The lich is a joke.

Last week i got my mes thru nf and i was panic mes with spiritway heros an hench - for once as i wasnt able to find a runner for Gates of madness i decided to try and do it.
Bare in mind the fact that only 3 of my many chrs have done nf and ive only spent time in realm of torment rushing thru it - so no returning an farming etc.I managed to do all the missions on masters and was shocked at how easy it seemed - i swear on my other chrs i had serious problems so ended up disliking the place.
When i got to lich an shiro and thru my own stupidity i capped 2 shrines then ended up killing shiro first an getting rest of shrines then lich. And again it seemed easier and faster than being run .
Im not saying im a great player - i may have had luck and also the way i took my time watching for patrols and careful pulling.
In realm of torment team setup is crucial - you need to get your heros builds setup , heros runed up etc as unlike henches who are pre set - heros will be your lifeline as long as you treat them with respect as a badly skilled hero is worse than a badly runed hero.
Also as suggested any mission / quest always check wiki on for hints and details - thats a big bonus.
Btw with a gd hero setup and henches abbadon should be a push over as he isnt really as hard as you`d think. Can be done with almost any team setup and hench - we did it with 2 heal heros and 6 ppl with no synergy for team skills and basically builds were just chucked together ( even a ranger who thought we meant abbadons mouth in prophs an brought winter lol ).

Ok we just did it no probs at all, I even managed to pull both the lich and shiro at the same time but they went down fast - although kassbrood did die because he got a little too far ahead of where I parked my heroes.
