anyone else unable to connect to GW or GW.com?
tried to run an image and will not connect -
tried to go to update page - will not connect.

Are you getting stuck on the "connecting" message?

If so, I'm having the same issue. It gave me a DNS error.

Edit: Nevermind. It looks like I just got in. Keep trying and you should get in.

I'm in game. Not down. I can also access all web sites. Including guildwiki.

As for web pages. Always check places like this first. http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Edit: Just logged out and back in. No issues. I'm in Arizona. So probably a localized internet explosion in Europe.

Can't connect to Arenanet the guildwiki is down to me and so is the official guildwars site. People already ingame might not have this problem I guess? I'm from europe by the way if that helps.

..same here, 8,20 pm - Italy (gmt+2) - no guildwars.com - wiki - and, of course, connection to game.. =)

Don't worry about it unless you see a popup message saying that you were banned/suspended. Anything else is just an error.

Same issue as above, can't connect to the official site, wiki, game etc.
One thing I've noticed is that ncsoft.com is down but ncsoft.net (global) is still working.
Romania here, btw.

Could somebody that can connect to all the sites and whatnot email Anet/NCsoft to ask what the problem is? Because this is rather tedious I still cant connect to any of the sites nor can I log in the game.

Well looking at this it seems that the DNS is the problem for some reason some DNS wont connect or something like that. I'm not that tech savvy though so I have no clue how to tamper with stuff like that.

...ok, little update...from my office (checking with hamachi and vnc ^^ ) i can access to gw website and gw wiki...of course i can't check the game connection trough my linux webserver @office, the point is: @home i have a different provider from office and they're 10min by walk, so it could (should) be a dns problem and not a gw server/location problem...(well it can't ban 1/4 of gw players anyway this problem -.-)

last update for me: Now it works, i had the google dns's on my router/Pc not my isp ones...

setting on defaut isp's one now every think seems to work...so check you're dns's ppl!

site+wiki+game seems to work (really slow btw, but working)!
