Not Getting Xp For M&B?

As the title says, but for more detail read on lol.

I decided to try for survivor on my Monk, all was well and good, then I went to Prophecies, the missions and bonuses give me 0 xp, is this normal? I was level 20 when I done them and have already done on my main. Last one I tried was Gates of Kryta and yet again 0 xp (M&B). Is it because my I'm level 20 or that I've already done them with another character?

Any ideas?

You don't get rewards for things that occured before your arrival to a foreign country. You are having issues if you're not getting XP for the missions after (but not including) Gates of Kryta.

So from Seaboard on I should get xp? Hopefully so, put my Monk on hold atm, I assumed the 1k xp for m&b was a given

Yes. It's the same reasoning as why you don't get subquests prior to LA. Seaboard onwards should run as normal.

You don't get XP for doing the early missions in NM, but you do get XP for doing them in HM. Pick up a copy of the Young Heroes of Tyria book and fill it, then turn in the book for even more XP. My survivor (rit) did that, as the early missions in each campaign are not difficult to do HM even with H&H, with the possible exception of Zen Daijun. (I got a friend to help with that one, just in case. I would NOT recommend pugging it.)

I would not recommend PUG when playing survivor.
