I don't take PwK on my resto necros since it nullifies the weapon mods. I'd rather use a 40/20/30 staff (adept restoration staff of fortitude). But that's personal preference.

Yeah if your heroes have PwK weapons mods won't matter as much because they will almost always be holding an item.
