Dragon Festival 2010

Erhm I don't think letting someone sit at your pc could be considered "account sharing"
dancing gnome
You agree to some incredibly unfair/unreasonable things when you accept the EULA and the RoC.

Like every other online game, anyone who wants to have a Guild Wars Game Account needs to have his/her own copy of the game. There is never a monthly fee to play Guild Wars, so you will have tremendous savings over most online games. Spawning multiple copies from a single purchase is disallowed and account sharing is a breach of the Rules of Conduct. |

So dancing gnome, letting my girlfriend play 1 game of rollerbeetle racing, because she saw it when I was playing and fancied a quick go, is a breach of the EULA? Wow, I wonder how Anet keep track of family members using GW at each players home. Satellites?!
On a side note, I let her try it and she wasn't very good, so never wants to play again.

I had a spare moment and managed to do the quest, they were really funny indeed, more than the ones I did for the other events for sure. I got confused cause I thought Hanso's quests were the limited time ones so I did them in a hurry...then I saw there were more than two at the same time....then I saw they were not disappearing, after an hour...lol
Pity for the real missions but anyway...had a piece of festival!

So, how much do these dragon masks sell for, if one decided to sell theirs a few months down the road?

The only money you'll make off 'masks' as such, is selling the tokens in the week following the festival, when tokens are no longer available. If people missed getting 250 tokens, then they'll need to buy a stack off you to exchange for a mask.

Can you not get mini greased lightning at the dragon festival only canthan festival?
Ranger Jaap
kinda disapointed that anet never had a record for dragon arena because i rocked at that, had 50 streak last year. but i suck in rollerbeetle wich is mostly luck for records.

the mask looks a bit like a mantid thing?

Is it just me or it looks angry?

Looks nice. Surprising that they actually show the spoiler on the wiki. Thanks.

The weapons the White Mantle use in the War in Kryta were on the wiki before people noticed them in game. They aren't available as drops yet but the wiki already has their inventory icons from data mining.
It's a shame because some people looking at recent changes on the wiki are exposed to spoilers like that without any defence.
PS: I think the mask looks like an Aztec/Incan totem pole like serpent. Should be interesting to see it in game and not just it's rainbow inventory icon (reminds me of the rainbow serpent from Mysterious Cities of Gold).

Now, those things on the sides...aren't them fins? Water dragon? A lot lot curious!

Who's up for server lag, automated start time issues, repeat quests, reskinned or repeated masks, and afk'ing on Nine Rings?
Oh, and botters doing Dragon Arena/Rollerbeetle. Fun times.....fuuuun times. |
Ya know, you can always just ignore the Festival crap and just continue doing whatever you would normally do. There is no requirement to participate. So stop whining.

The devs forgot to test the four-hourly missions in light of the mesmer sklls and Fast Casting updates .

Something I forgot to note on that mask:
I really, really hope there aren't too many clipping issues with it. Even if the "fins" jut out to the side, I can see some problems. Why do all the best Necro armors have collars?!

Both missions I did had the dream riders in the beginning. Did anyone make it more than 4 times in a row with heroes in seitung harbour?

Although that does look pretty awesome I wouldn't mind one of those.

Does anyone know if you can get greased lightning at dragon fest racing?

Why is the finale starting at 2:00 am pacific this year instead of its normal starting time of 12:00 am pacific?

Let me guess: You tried the Tsumai Village mission and got decimated.

And even if I managed to get down the 4 dream ryders, after half party's death, I couldn't make the rest with a small party and dp, eww

And I thought it was just me...I declared that mission almost impossible and totally not worth the prize.

Those are the easy ones if you ask me, the current missions are giving me some troubles. There are too many storms spawning and my heroes like to play catch with the meteor storms. Just died whith the fury at 1 blip of his health

I've been "farming" the quests with a spirit spammer easily. I normally get at least 2-3 runs in each half hour. I found Gwen with 3+ interupts and a rit healer (monk enchantments suck compared to weapon spells) with a Leech Signet and Power Drain make a big difference on the nukers. My third hero was originally a single target fire nuker but for the day three missions I find a minion master to be incredibly helpful.
I've also done the day 2 missions fairly easily with a Glass Arrows/Needling Shot ranger and a hammer warrior, heal monk (no enchantments) and a channeling rit with a couple heals (all heroes). No consumables or PvE skills (aside from the Triple Shot and Never Rampage Alone) and I didn't have trouble.
Spirit spam makes it much easier but if you are careful and bring a mesmer you won't have too many problems. Day 3 is easy if you have spirits and minions to tank, Gwen to shut down the majority of AoE ele nukes, healer to keep you alive while a modest spirit army finishes them off with DPS. The groups are small enough that you won't need a lot of DPS once you manage to stay alive a little bit.
That said, the quests have always been very difficult back in the day, it's part of what makes them fun. I do think the recent mesmer buffs makes them a little too harsh and removes a significant number of builds, strategies and possibly classes from being able to effectively complete them.
Elementalists need a huge buff.

There's been a lot of american districts that have glitched grasps (3 and 47 I can confirm) that will not kill you, so if you want to leech you should do some district hopping.

I just came to a realization.
This is likely to be the last time that I'll see DA or RBR before GW2 comes out, or at least before the beta comes out.
