Guild wars music, relaxing and nostalgic.

Isit just me, of is the music of guild wars so damn relaxing?
When im stoned, sitting back to the orignal Prophecies soundtrack really does chill me out, aswell as bring back them awesome memories back from the day.
Anyone, similar?

I always loved Shing Jea Monastery music. Soothing, reminds me of GW's finest - awesome GvG, difficult and challenging PvE, more or less balanced classes.

I have had a GW music cd in my truck radio for as long as I can remember.
Eragon Zarroc
puts me to sleep like a little baby

Disabled BGM after the first playthrough, can't remember what it's like. My own playlist suits me better

I love it all, especially the Canthan stuff. Jeremy Soule is very gifted.
It's a shame about DirectSong and DRM.

I haven't been able to hear my favourite piece in years, Lion's Arch's music.
It plays for a few seconds then immediately switches to some other track. Happens on every install of Guild Wars I've ever seen, ever since Nightfall was released.

I really love the prophecies soundtrack, in particular the track named "Over the Shiverpeaks". It makes me think about a pair of eagles flying over the mountains, talking to each other, as the two main instruments alternate themselves through the melody.

I used to like it, but after so many years the songs got old. So now I just turn off the music and play my own.
However, I do indeed love Pre music.

Factions has always had the best soundtrack of all the games (hopefully GW2 will retain some of this). That said I would never listen to GW music away from the game. There are just so many better game soundtracks, let alone compositions from other musicians.

Catchphrase
While no doubt Jeremy Soule is a gifted composer, I find his works in subsequent GW titles quite monotonous; lacking the typical epic feel associated with Oblivion's theme or the serenity seen in his music for Neverwinter Nights.
Cuilan
For 99% of the time I've spent playing Guild Wars, I've had the music off. Not my kind of stuff.

Guild Wars has amazing music. Even more amazing unused music. Anet is just (no offense) horrible at utilizing it correctly.
The Scorpion Knight
Love the ingame music, really gets me into playing. So relaxing and calm.

I like music in ratasum
Abedeus
Oh right, the only game that had better soundtrack than GW - Neverwinter Nights.
Pyrokar
The music in Ascalon (Pre-searing) is some of my favorite. I have alot of fond memories of the Shiverpeaks music, also.

BlueAngel
Love the music in GW, some of the best in any game I have played. I particularly like the LA music, so relaxing.

Over the Shiverpeaks.... Haunting and beautiful
pumpkin pie
everytime I hear the music (don't know what is the title) I want to go kill some charrs/monsters.

Haven't listened to the music of GW in about four years now. I do like "Land of the Golden Sun" from the NF soundtrack though.

My favourite would be Crystal Oasis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oFGagjD18o) makes me think of the old days .

Guild Wars has amazing music horribly used ingame. Hell, most of it you don't even hear ingame, but are rather extra tracks you could only hear through directsong, or piracy.
And it's not like that thing has any marketing either, so the only ones who know about Guild Wars' extra soundtracks like the "Battle Pak" are pirates who just so happen to stumble upon it.
Shame on Arenanet for treating Jeremy Soule's awesome music so poorly!

Was listening it just in my very first day. Not my kind of music. But everyone to his taste :d

One of the most atmospherical pieces I've ever heard.
The old Lion's Arch music is still my favourite (for some reason it now plays Temple of Tolerance after a few seconds now). So many memories... I can't believe it's been five years.

The Great Northern wall completely takes me back tbh, its just a killer to me D:
