"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

Requirement Begins With R [notQ]

Mmmm... memory error.

Try removing your memory modules from the motherboard and putting them back in. I've had success fixing a freezing issue by doing this, perhaps it'll work for you too.

Just a suggestion. :|

Have you tried MemTest86+? I would advise you use MSConfig to turn off background tasks to see if the error goes away. It is almost certinly caused by another piece of software.
Do you have Delfin Media installed?

Update:

MemTest86+ = nothing
msconfig / i did disabled some things = nothing

Delfin Media = no such thing installed

Owerall nothing, same error.

Edit: i have this pc since 3 years and gw was working perfect, but since gw fest which is atm, it gives me this error.

May sound completely and totally random...but...have you done a virus scan since then...just a story from a friend who had a similar problem...I don't remember all the details...but the basic jist was he was getting a c0000005 crash... then later that day his automatic virus scan picked up and cleaned something...and he tried to run gw again and had no issue... I mean...it's worth a shot :\ not like running a virus scan is gonna be harmful to your computer :P

That's a memory error. Most likely culprit is bad RAM. Did you let memtest86+ run overnight?

As a temporary fix to this, you could attempt to increase the voltage to your DIMMs. This voltage increase should only be .05-.1 volts in your BIOS. Try that and see if it goes away (don't change any other settings).

Some things? Turn off all non-microsoft tasks and see if it occures. If it does, you may need to reinstall Windows or use a restore point, but lets hope not. Sometimes a file will be damaged when you or windows moves it on the hard drive. I had it happen a few times and no, the hard drive was not bad or going bad. Guild Wars accesses several hundred files while it is loading, mostly DirectX, sound card drivers and video driver files, any one of them can cause the error.

Just a few questions to get an idea of what type of system you are using.
What version of windows are you using? 32 or 64 bit?
Have you done all the latest updates from MS?
What video card are you using and driver version? (Both Nvidia and ATI have released drivers that can cause this issue with some specific cards.)
Which Sound Card are you using? (There are a few Creative products have drivers known for this class of issue.)
What applications do you have running in the background at startup?
Is Guild Wars the only game that has this issue?

How many memory modules do you have? If you have two, try removing one and check if the error still happens. If the error occurs, use only the other module and see what happens.

I did that and restarted pc with each piece alone and no effect.

I camed to reason, i'll perma format my hard drive and setup everthing on new and we will see what will happen. Once it will be done, ill post here for the final result.

Tnx again everbody.

Edit:

After update, everthing works and i didnt have to format the pc .
