ive recently been tryign to buy one.. and have been very unsucessful in my endevors. so i thought id try and exsperiment today in 3 places just spending the day trying to buy one. i came across 0 WTS ads for this mini and i got 1 pm about it.

has anyone seen a simliar pattern w/ this miniture? or is it im just getting really really unlucky w/ my timing of buying?

and jsut as a lil food for thought.. ive seen more WTS ads for mini M.O.X then for zhu just an interesting fact :P

I think ppl that owns a Zhu want to keep it more than the ppls that owns a Mox because it looks better. i dont think the rarity matters that much.

i was talking more along the lines of.. zhu hanuku appearing less out of gifts then a mini M.O.X. might be that tho.. eh ill keep exsperimenting to see.

Seems like I see more Zhu Hanuku minis out and about more often than I do the M.O.X's. Maybe they are just more noticeable, definitely the coolest 5th year IMO.

The marketplace isn't active enough anymore to always find what you want, in my experience.

well.. against my other data(couple day's worth), i finally found one on the marketplace for what seemed like a decent price. so i guess they are out there. but yea i deffinatley still see way more M.O.X minis out and about then zhu hanuku. And i see even more WTS ads for M.O.X then i do zhu(seems this mini has a preety decent "look" to it so it ads to collectablity ths less selling then M.O.X.)

you also can see M.O.X everyday if u have NF jsut alot bigger. so zhu deffinatley off the beaten path so that might= more collectability.

I think guildwnerd had a good point. People usually pawn off minis they don't like as much ie a Mox instead of the Zhu hanuku. This is probably why you see less for sale vs lots of people wanting to get rid of their Mox.

I tried selling you an undedicated one in-game and you said I was asking to much at 50e. I see a lot of people selling for 75e.

Like most things in this game the value is pretty subjective. If you REALLY want the mini-pet you will fork up the gold to get it. If not, then wait a few months and see if it goes down any.

technically, mox is more rare. zhu may be more popular though, making him harder to obtain

yea thats what im thinking. zhu is more popular so ppl keep it vs M.O.X that can sell more doesnt look as good but is rarer.

so it may be just a skin issue not a game # issue.

I raise your "data" (read, made up observation) and raise you with statistical data
http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Drop...rthday_Present
edit: actually that site doesn't have enough info to be statistically significant, so you can ignore it

Zhu is more common. He's just cooler (read, bigger), so people don't want to sell him. Also keep in mind that, by definition, there won't be as many 5th year minis floating around as there are 1-4th year, so they are also harder to find. In another 2-3 years, Zhu will be a lot easier to come by as there will be more of them out there (although, he still might be really popular, and you also have to factor in how fewer people will be playing the game in the future).
