MO/N HM Farm solo
Oni_Rexel
Hai there,
To get straight into things,
The build is very simple as well as the armor.
Armor: Full cheapest set (assembled with the typical 55hp monk runes)
Weapon: -50hp cesta obviously and any caster sword/wand/spear
Build: Protective Spirit, Healing Breeze, Spirit Bond, Spiteful Spirit, Insidious Parasite, Essence Bond, Mending, Baltz Spirit
Attributions: 12 Curses, 9 Healing Prayers, 9 protection prayers +1 +3
I have ONLY tested this out at Pongmei Valley as it kills the jades, the jade boss as well as the Kirins, undergrowths, dragon mosses and wardens in this area. As well as testing it out at Wajjun Bazaar in which case I was able to kill the Elemental Boss.
You will DEFINATELY need to use Spirit Bond to keep up the healing.
When killing the Jade brotherhoods, Always go for the RT first in the mob, These die surprisingly quick compared to the Mesmers. The Mesmers use disrupts and the skill Expel Hexes, so be prepared to take some time to kill these (a minute or so)
Anyways, to get a clear idea of what the drops are like here incase you haven't already tried this out (seen as it is a very old build) I kept a record of the first run I did as I logged on:
1st run drops:

Total Kill Count : 44-50
Average Kill Count: 47
I do Believe that the first Three Brotherhood mobs include; 2 knights; 2 knights; 1 knight and 1 RT. These can vary to; 2 knights; 2 knights; 1 RT & 1 Ele (Eles aren't any trouble here, so just leave them until after the RT).
What i usually do is agro all three mobs, Killing the RT first then the knights after. But be careful, you will need to keep up spirit bond as much as possible here.
The remaining mobs before the boss usually include 1 knight standing by himself, 1 knight and 1 mesmer and another 1 knight 1 mesmer mob. However this can vary to 1 knight by himself, 1 knight 1 mesmer and 1 knight 1 RT. How you choose to kill these is up to you. I usually try to agro all 3 mobs again and going for the RTs first then the mesmers.
However, After this you will see an Assassin boss named 'Xuekao, the Deceptive' standing by himself - but don't be decieved. After 2-4 seconds of aggroing him another 3 more mobs appear. These can relatively been taken care of easily, however I do prefer to kill the boss first as this is usually a very fast battle. Providing you can keep up spirit bond and healing breeze you shouldn't have a problem.
Just cast prot spirit and healing breeze before aggroing!. As Am Fah Marksman appear and use Apply Poison.
Afterwards, cast both SS and IP (Insidious Parasite) on the boss, re-casting when needed and also keeping up HB, SB and PS.
The mobs which appear after aggroing vary.
Usually it's; 2 Am Fah Marksman, 1 assassin & 1 healer & 1 Am Fah Marksman, 1 healer & 1 Am Fah Marksman and something else.
OR
The mobs are ; 2 Am Fah Marksman, 2 Necros & 1 Healer, 1 marksman & 1 healer & 1 sin
NOTE* the 2 Am Fah Markman are behind a wall and can't hit you unless you move into a space for them to be able to. However, if you choose not to move into space, you may not be able to cast spells as efficiently due to the energy which you would normally gain from being hit.
NOTE#2* If you have the mob in which the necros appear, Kill the boss first then the necros.
NOTE#3* If you die, it's not much of a problem. Just equip an offhand which has +30 health then you'll be fine; you'll be able to kill things the same and reduce your Death Penalty. However, if you have more than 15% DP, you're pretty much screwed. Re-zone.
NOTE#4* As you move onto the kirins etc, I DO NOT recommend agroing 2 or more mobs of these as their Barbs skill becomes very deadly. It is possible to do it and pull through, but it becomes very difficult.
Have fun kids!

I think you are a few years late with this build.
55 SS or SV has been around for some time. N/Mo can even work better with the higher damage.
But thanks for posting the details for this location!

best farming I find with that build is the Luxon Assassins in the Hycalon Job quest.
about 35 or so enemies + a boss
can be done over and over for about 4 minutes a run (3 or less in NM)

Is that the name of the actual quest? because i can't find any information on it on GW wiki,

The quest is "The Halcyon Job" given by Captain Lexis in Cavalon.
The follow-up quest, "Protect the Halcyon", is excellent for farming as well, although the mobs are much less homogeneous.

I still prefer the 330hp ritualist variant
Oni_Rexel
Ok well i've tried out the halcyon job farm a few times and i'm still having difficulty with the mobs that spawn when you agro Senkai, Lord of the 1,000 Daggers Guild.
Any ideas on how to take care of them?

Any ideas on how to take care of them? head to Senkai and keep running to the far left corner and kill Senkai easily.

Ok thanks

How do you deal with the knockdown? Any ideas? This is for Luxon Assassin farming, btw
Oni_Rexel
Well i've been doing that farm a few times now and I just get on with it tbh. Use SS before they start attacking.

Take anti-knockdown like "Dwarven Stability + Alcohol"....
Or stand near those few people in the Area that turn from enemys to friends... (forgot their name-.-) and they can't knockdown you...
