Running out of item space
Lishy
Guys, what do you do when you run out of item room in Guild Wars?
My storage is chocked full of tonics, mods, etc, my dervish mule is FULL of mods, and 2 of my other characters have armors. Meanwhile, my main's bottom inventory slots are full of weapons and minis.
The problem here is mostly my weapons and minis however. What do you do when you have too many customized weapons and dedicated minis you don't want to get rid of, on a single character? I don't want to stuff my other characters to the point of being unplayable since I play all profs but Derv in PvE. However this items issue is seriously killing me and I'm very picky for actual storage space.

I think it's better to sell anymore you obtain if a char aint your main
Neo Nugget
I say look at what you really need, keep that stuff and then sell the rest of your junk.
Twin Blade Warriror
haha yeah..i keep alot of junk in my storage as well..ive cleaned it out though
just put junk on characters u dont use or if u have friends who quit..use their accounts as storage space like i do too

what about when you have 2 storage accounts full of chars holding stuff? should I be seeing a therapist for that?

Generally if the items are something you can find rather quickly, get rid of them or trash them. It's not worth taking up the extra inventory space or paying real money to keep them.
For example, if you have a bunch of mods you arent currently using, get rid of them and if you find you ever need them again you can just buy them in 10 minutes or less usually.
That's my input,

but @ Op: accounts are now preety cheap(i got a discount @ gamestop from my friend the other day for $20 for the full 3 campaigns) and i deffinatley wouldnt recomend buying extra charr slots..
i think charr losts are what 5 or $10 ea? for the price of 4 characters you can get a new account.
and also sell your crap. just go through, sell those mods.. chances are you arent gonan use them, and if you are.. jsut go buy one. so if its not max its trash.
as for the mini pets.. i do understand your problem w/ that.. i buy lots of minis and even when they are ded.. i cant get rid of them. but then you can always put them on that 2nd account i suggested .
hope this helps.
The Scorpion Knight
Start using the tonics, and selling the minis. Put the customized weapons on hero's. I even have a 1k S/B in the sell section going right now on greens and mini's just so I can get rid of the stuff.
Darcy
I'm right there with you. I have every possible storage pane and two mules, but never have room for anything. I forced myself to giveaway/sell all my dyes. I don't keep inscriptions or mods anymore. I'm slowly getting rid of weapons I'm not using. I have a deadline I set (October) to have only their own stuff on each character and at least half a storage pane of empty slots.

But yeah, sell the stuff you arent using, keep only what you really really want. (if you dont want to 'expand' your account that is).....though extra accounts are pretty cheap if you really really really NEED to keep stuff.
pumpkin pie
take screenshots of you wearing/wielding your treasures, after that sell/throw everything away except the ones you do actually use to play the game with.
BTW, Heroes can hold some of your weapons

I'm too lazy...
To sit in Spamadan and try to sell mods/greens/minis. I'll ask once, maybe twice in guild/ally chat, but after that they go straight to the merch...or the trash.
Would you like to permanently destroy ded mini lich? "Yes, because no one wants him even for 1k when i asked"

Post up screens of all your hoarding or make a list. I'll tell you what to throw away/sell.
Upgrades/weapons are usually the biggest offenders. If you've outfitted all the heroes you can and can't find a home for them, let them go. I used to have a bunch of mods, and almost never made use of them. Slowly I started clearing them out, and now, unless it's a perfect mod of some demand, I ignore it completely.
Edit: There is also a giveaways section right here on the forum, instead of merching/trashing stuff. Be charitable.

Missing HB
Yes , the problem comes to the fact that people are only buying items for titles/HoM ( sweet tooth , party, minis ) , high prices items you get in end chests ( crystallines , obsidian , BdS ... ), or ectos.
That's why i'd suggest to sell merchant all gold items that you believe worth a bit , but no that much ...
However , got to agree that it's hard to find space in inventories sometimes , with armors , weapon sets , minis , items i mentionned , keys , tomes , etc..., but they already suggest people to buy storage extra or new char slots , so they wont do anything about it .

On the subject of equipment packs, you could always play for the Large Packs -- they're only 5 Gold Z-Coins for 15 slots, as opposed to the 15-gzc-cost of the 20-slot Rip-Off Pack. Then you'd at least have a place for the overflow of weapons/mods/armor you want to hang onto.

I have 2 accounts just for mules I think a total of 12 characters.
Angel Killuminati
Anon-e-mouse
I have 7 characters who are just storing Nicholas items, another 4 storing mini pets, and lets not even visit the ones I have holding mods (2), runes (2), insignia (1), greens (1), golds (3), etc etc.
Pleikki
Im giving away everything allways i cant be arsed sell or is worth less then 20k, Saves Alot of room!
Aljasha
Just sell 90% of the stuff you don't use on a regular basis. Problem solved.
CrX
Compress them.
Salvage the perfect mods for the same types of weapons,shields,etc..
and fill every upgrade spot on your weapon/shield/offhand of choice. Trash or merch the stripped ones.
You can do the same with runes.eg:buy some pieces of beginner armor and upgrade them. Store the upgraded armor(compression ratio 50%). Or just upgrade your heroes armor with runes.
Equip your heroes with fully upgraded weapons.
You can salvage everything later anyway.
Merch the non-perfect mods.

1. Get every Hero you can. The ones you don't use are a convenient place to store 1 weapon and 1 offhand each. (The weapons don't have to be usable by the hero-mule - for example MOX with a staff and shield.)
2. Put your weapons mods on weapons. You will need to use a perfect salvage kit to remove them when you want them, but they will take up less space. For example, instead of storing a Destroyer Sword, plus a 20/20 hilt, a +30 pommel and a 15^50 inscription (4 slots), a Sundering Destroyer Sword of Fortitude with 15^50 only takes up one slot.
3. Buy extra character slots. Each mule can store 50 items or more, depending upon the size of the equipment bag.
4. Obviously, get as large an equipment bag as reasonably possible for each character. The bags only store weapons and armour, but the weapons (if not customized) don't have to belong to the character.
5. Like all hoarders and pack-rats, you may eventually need to learn to "let go". Use or sell the tonics, alcohol, party treats, etc.
N I T E Stalker
make a char to keep all/most of the things you arent using such as weapons, runes, minipets etc.
