Leftover Medals of Honor
StormDragonZ
I had 15 Medals of Honor. I used 10 of them to get an Oppressor Staff, but now I have 5 extra.
I only wanted the one weapon, so what do I do with the leftover 5 Medals? I can't sell them to anyone either. Does this mean my leftover Medals are now just junk unless I get 5 more and deliberately get a new weapon?

I had 162 medals and now i have 2 spare. I wonder if anet would be so kind to add an NPC who would offer a royal gift in exchange for a medal?

or you can hold on to them, and use them for the next characther you run thru the missions.

Buy stuff for your friends or buy weapons for your heroes. Or you can buy the items and sell them on the market. Price for Oppressor's Weapons are high at the moment and can net you some good cash.
Really your only options. Otherwise junk them if you don't care for them.

Get 5 more and sell for 100k(the weapon)? How is that bad at all?
MithranArkanere
Either sell them or keep making the quests to get more.
You can still make the quests.
Also, you other characters can use them too.

Yeah kind of a disappointment to me. I was hoping for a summoning stone for the useless big tin can that zinn made. You know the one that walked back an forth around his base. I wanted to fight next to it in the final mission but never happened. never will
Even a costume of some sort would have been nice.
But at least I saved my stacks of war supplies and did not cash them in right away

where have you been selling oppressor weapons? People have been selling them for way cheaper than they are worth. Here's my math:
250 War Supplies=10 Medals of Honor=1 Weapon
250 War Supplies=16 Royal Gifts=4000 Gold Each=64,000 Gold
I have seen people selling the Oppressor Weapons: Spear, Sword, Focus Items for 35k. I hope that this doesn't become the price point for all of these weapons because that is way too low.
On topic though: I didn't turn my War Supplies into Medals until I knew exactly what the Medals would be traded in for. It's really the best way to go when you don't know what you are gonna get.

Selling in Lion's Arch District 1 is where I see them going for high all the time.
Oppressor's Weapons selling for 75k mostly, unless they have no mods then they sell for 50k. Alari's Double Blades are the only greens I see sold and people are trying to sell those for 50k.

i sold 2 alari's double blades for 30k,25k with the medals i had earned. I sold 2 stacks of War Supplies 65k ea. Then turned 2 stacks in royal gifts out of boredom to open them for crap. GL on the 75k for oppressor weapons.

Yes they did. There was a good stretch of time where you simply couldn't sell if you didn't have perfect mods on your weapon...

Spent a while selling Oppressor's weapons to order, i.e. I had the medals and i'd go get what the customer wanted, absolutely zero interest until I dropped the price to 50k.

EDIT: 65k takes some time shouting to sell, 50k would probably sell better. Seems best way is to just sell stacks of war supplies for 62k or whatever is highest
Also it doesn't help that Anet in their genius didn't make these add-able to your HoM alongside Destroyer/Tormented weapons. If they had there would probably be more interest in them.

I'm going to change this a bit based on what I've been seeing.
250 War Supplies=16 Royal Gifts=3000 Gold each=48,000 Gold
However, I saw several weps being sold in LA for far less than that. I would say most were around 35k.
If you only want gold, seems like selling gifts or even the War Supplies themselves at around 200-250 each seems like the best route...

Not to mention that MoHs can also be acquired by completing the primary missions and found into Royal Gifts, so a direct equivalence between Supplies and Medals isn't possible.
