I've used the forum search, but I find nothing on this subject.
So basically what I want to do is find some of the Guild Wars music that plays in the outposts, and change them to Resident Evil save game music. Like for example: Resident Evil 2 Save Room Theme.
The only problem is, I don't know how I could do this, I don't even know where to start. So i'm asking, "Is there a way to change the guild wars soundtrack?".

Currently I don't think it is possible unless Anet releases some sort of Toolkit for Guild Wars. Haven't found any kind of extractor for the .dat file.
All we can do at the moment is alter the graphics using texmod (3rd party program).

There is the "high quality" soundtrack that came with Factions and Nightfall CEs that you were supposed to be able to replace the IGM with. I remember it was notoriously flaky to get working, but it might be a starting point....

I would give a lot to be able to replace IGM. Not that it's bad, I have the complete OST. There is just so much other great music out there that I find myself thinking of putting in this area or that, that would fit perfectly.

You can do custom soundtracks with DirectSong. I've never done it, but links are below.

Definitely thank you for those links. Thought we were just stuck with only texture editing, nice to see we can change our soundtrack as well.
And thanks for the browser. At least it shows what is inside, but still wish we could extract the files and modify them (as in Model Edits and such). But thanks nonetheless.
