Remove "Recruits" or make them "Dismissable"
I dont want anything to do with these "Recruits" that keep joining my party.
But because I have finished everything required I am Plagued with them.
I dont wish to switch to another toon to do stuff in Kryta.
Stop punishing accomplished toons...
Make them Refusable, Dismissable
When they say "do you mind if I join your party" or "tag along"
Let us say HELL YES I MIND and get lost!
Maybe I wana Remain Nutral in your war.
Maybe I support the Mantle...
Maybe your GW2 tie in is annoying regular game play and title building.
This bugs me enough to come rant rather then play GWs.

As Anet said to all the other Shiro fanboys, Lichdom seekers, Margonite wannabees and those who wanted a grill party in the Destroyer spawning chambers:
"This is not a multiple ending game."
Your side is chosen for you, and it's not the evil side. You'll just have to live with it. And the horror of having the company of another lvl 20 NPC walking with you.
Maybe you could try to talk it out with the White mantle patrols?

wtf is the problem with them anyway? Why do you mind that they join your party.

Well then the solution to this is not to not have them. The solution would be to make it so that allies flag with your heroes/henchmen
Imaginos
and when they die they re-res and drag aggro back towards you, over and over. Rezzing = great, extra aggro as they die their way back to you = no so much.

You joke, but more than once I used them for exactly that when I was vanqing Kryta (stupid me for waiting until WiK had introduced all the new ubermobs, but I didn;t know they'd gtfo when the "war" was over).

I finished the war so they are gone, but I also did not appreciate them.
Why? because you cannot pull with them in party and they aggro. |
But the run from beetlerun to LA is semi glitched (bimm catches on map corner) and compleat nonsense as far as the assult by COMPLEATLY overwhelming force that i dont think could be stopped under any circumstance.
Also while the final Battle was "fun" after winning... it took 3 trys H/H to do and is also damn near impossable for the "avarage" player to do.
whole story line cost me about 9 con sets... and a few other consumables.
This story line was all in all very hard to pick up, many said it was confusing trying to start it.

After finishing WiK, give Salma a sort of "switch" option:
"Yes! I wish to re-enact the War in Kryta!"
"No thanks."
Shouldn't be that tough, eh? If the dialogues switch WiK on, surely something can switch it off.

The main reason of being there is to help tough vanquishes such as Kryta during the war period. However as they go once the war is finished and areas turn back to normal anyway there shouldn't really be a problem.
They add little bits of content and you ask them to remove it, what is wrong with this world?
Though if anything the courier would be the only REAL reason to have party members like this dismissable.

The weapons at the end of the saga is worth dealing with the recruits.
