Drunkard Question

I was curious about this regarding the Drunkard title since I'm going for it.

I have two hypothetical questions that would help me become more efficient with my progress.

1. Say I have been level 4 Intoxication for 30 seconds, whenever I drink a level 1 drink, does that mean I will be in level 5 intoxication for a whole minute or for 30 seconds?

2. If I use a drink before I go from level 5 to 4, will I still get a point when the timer hits the 60 seconds, or do I have to wait to lower a level before I get a point?

As far as I know:

Drinking a level 1 drink will add 60 seconds to your drunk timer. If you're halfway through a drunk stage and you drink a level 1 drink, you'll be halfway through the drunk stage that's one more than what you had.

Drinking a drink will put you back up against the 5 drunk level limit, so you'd be wasting a drunk minute.

Ah yeah, thanks for the helpful posts. Sadly I have a mixture of level 1 and 5 alcohol from what was available to purchase, but I just start off with a level 5 drink and go with the 1's as long as I can hahah.

and idk this helps some ppl but i would go and do the drunkard title while out killing things, or doing quests or SC's or what not. it helps w/ the boredom.
ofc when i did i sat in my gh w/ a timer next to my table set to go off every 3 mins. so i could come in and click my next alt. hit the button, and then go bk to watching tv or w/e it was i was doing. that also helps.

A tip is to open the title screen, make it as small as possible so you can only see the drunkard title and it doesn't intrude too much. This way you can more accurately keep track of when to use a drink than a timer.

Unlikely. With level 1 alcohol you are probably not going to drink 5 of them and wait 5 minutes to drink 5 more. Rather, you would drink 5 to get to level 5 and drink 1 every minute (or 3 every 3 minutes, so long as you stay drunk enough to count). Total loss depends on how long your drunkard streaks are, but you will definitely not lose 2 out of 5 drinks (for example, if you stay drunk for an hour by drinking every 1, 2 or 3 minutes you will only lose 2 out of 62 drinks). However, you are right that using level 5 drinks is easier because you won't have to worry about keeping up a drunkard streak (you can just drink whenever so long as you wait at least 3 minutes between each use).
