No, I am not forgetting who this is coming from. This is coming from anet, and yes I am aware that they have a tendency to break promises and/ or delay things as well as other often disappointing and annoying actions. However, just because they have a tendency to do that does not mean that they won't release the derv update at the same time as the gvg update. It just emphasizes that it really is a big maybe and we shouldn't hold our breath that it will come out at the same time and not after as they themselves said it was a maybe.

I think with Langmar gone, it would be nice to see a vanguard soldier take her place at Longeye's Ledge for the people who finished the WiK BLA. Just have the soldier state he's filling in for the lost captain or something. Makes for better continuity.
I've also read that Evennia did indeed show up in Old Ascalon complaining about Adelbern not meeting with her. How did people trigger this event?
In addition, shouldn't Zain and Raistlin be changed or even removed from that spot after the WiK?

It did seem odd that Zain was still there, years after Prophecies. However, I suppose one could retcon it by assuming that Zain was sent back to try to work the same deal with Adelbern that Evennia was trying to work: provide support for my side in the WiK and my side will help you with the charr later.
Zain may not yet know that the WiK is over and lost for his side. The few surviving Mantle probably have bigger concerns than sending a messenger to Ascalon to recall Zain. (Think about wars before the invention of radio, airplanes, etc. Major battles were often fought long after the war was officially over because those in the field had not yet received the news.)
