Auto hotkey

I want to ask you is this program legal. I want that this program first changes weapon set and then use skills 345. I have seen some sites about macros but only about g15 macros, nothing about this.

I'd assume it's not allowed because its a 3rd party program that directly affects play.

ANY kind of automation is "illegal" - whether they are able to detect it is another matter.

So yeah something like you suggest where you can do two things while pressing one key is "illegal".

Neither AutoHotkey nor macros are against the rules, but using either or both can indeed result in a ban. Macros are a gray area, and so you use them at your own risk.

If your macro allows you to walk away while your character performs actions, it is automation, and can result in a ban.

If you make a macro that combines actions while you are still playing and at your keyboard, then you are probably fine.

ArenaNet refuses to define to what degree macros are allowed, but the key to remember is no automation is allowed, and you use these macros and any software that enable them at your own risk.

edit: ArenaNet also forbids any measure that gives an unfair advantage, so they could ban you if they determine any particular macro does that.

According to Gaile, Regina and Lindsy, if I recall correctly, as long as you are physically there playing the game then it's fine to use a macro to do something simple such a /rank or paste an advertisement (such as "wts"/"wtb" or "guild looking for members"), etc etc.

Using said program to PLAY THE GAME FOR YOU is an entirely different subject and WILL get you banned if caught.
