Hey guys, im finally going for leg skill hunter and inorder to save time i have a ton of balth faction and many elite skill tomes in storage and was wondering if anyone has a link or advice to which skills it would be best using the tomes for. I.e any tyrian bosses that take ages to get to or dont spawn everytime, or bosses towards the end of missions etc.
thanks =)
Best use of elite skill tomes for title?

Personally I recommend doing LSK profession by profession. For each skill, simply use the official Guild Wars Wiki, go to their detailed category of elite skills and whenever you get to a skill that you feel is far, far out of they way, then just use a tome.
Download a copy of Aylee Sedai's "Mapping Out" program. For each elite it will tell you every location in every campaign where it can be capped. Use tomes for any skill that has only one or two cap locations that are a pain in the rear to reach.
Note, however, that the program has not yet been updated for the elites that can be capped from WiK bosses, so you might want to keep a list of those handy for cross-checking.
Really, though, the biggest pains are Prophecies elites from bosses that share spawn points in missions. Concentrate on the elites from Perdition Rock and the RoF missions and use tomes for any that don't have better alternate cap locations. There are a couple of elites like that in Factions, too, IIRC. For Elona, you might want to consider using tomes for elites in the Realm of Torment, depending on how much you loathe the area.

Mineral Springs bosses and Maw the Mountain Heart are rather boring to walk to.

It's a fun title to complete so good luck and enjoy!
I'll agree with Vodka and say that Mineral Springs bosses are a pain to get to after a while.
In fact, I'll go as far as to say that elite tomes would be put to good use on any elite that you find only in Tyria, just because the bosses spawn in random locations (or sometimes, not at all).
Edit: The post below me makes a good point. It's cheaper to just run through and get the skills yourself anyway. Plus if you're going for the Vanquish title or for the Cartographer title, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pair them and do them together.

Oh yeah, Fevered Dreams is a pain. It's on the back end of the Abaddon's Gate mission and the boss doesn't spawn every time. Otherwise, don't be too afraid of the Tyrian caps, a lot of them, even though random, spawn fairly close to an outpost, so you can rezone until the boss is close by.
Another tip is to save your own profession's caps until last and capture those in conjunction with other caps since you are always going to be able to bring an extra cap sig for your own profession. (For example, if you are a necro trying to capture a warrior skill, there might also be a necro boss in the general vicinity...).

My rule of thumb was basically if it's both far from an outpost and only available in a remote location, consider toming it. But really, it's kinda fun to cap skills I think. This wasn't too grindy feeling of a title for me. Start with some of the harder ones and you'll be glad later on when you don't feel like capping, but can't talk yourself out of taking a 5 minute trot out to the boss.

I agree. I didn't find capping to be too grindy, except perhaps for some of the RoF caps. I also did each campaign starting from the endgame areas and working back towards the easy caps. When something keeps getting easier, it feels even less grindy.
