Error 227 and 058 - After a 2-year absence from GW

So I haven't played GW for a couple of years now but this morning I decided to re-install the game and its expansions.
I got my password reset, but after logging on with a bunch of different character names, I keep getting Error 227. I know I am entering the correct character names since I kept a list of them before I stopped playing. I heard that sometimes this keeps happening when the server is down.. but I don't think that's the case right now, is it?
Oh, and I also got Error 058 twice while trying to log on.

Anyone have an idea what I can do or what's going on?

There error 058 is probably caused by a firewall. When I installed Guild Wars on my new computer, I had to turn off the firewall in order for it to install, but then I could turn it back on and everything worked just fine. You may need to turn your firewall off when you play Guild Wars, so just be careful about what sites you go on when it's off.

As for the 227, make sure everything (user name, password, character name) is correct. If it doesn't work, contact support and hope for the best.
