Is this the location of Ebonhawke?

Looking at the map from Ghosts of Ascalon, I went to the location that resembled it the closest. It has it's waterway and is somewhat a mountain. Will this area be featured in the Guild Wars beyond content?

How should we know?

In a nicer way: We don't know.

Yes, definitely.

Not at all.

Ebonhawke seems way further south then anything you can get to in GW1

That is indeed a very nice overlay. Saving that one.

While the recall of the Ebon Vanguard and the founding of Ebonhawke might be covered in Guild Wars: Beyond, I don't think we will actually be able to visit the location.

Based solely on reading the lore and reading Ghosts of Ascalon...here is where I depict Ebonhawke to be.
It is in the Blazeridge mountains which extend east from Ascalon and curve west toward the Shiverpeaks. The Blazeridge Mountains divide Ascalon from the Crystal Desert...in some respect.
In Ghosts of Ascalon, the authors depict Ebonhawke's location as in the foothills of the Blazeridge mountains adjacent to the Shiverpeaks.
The book also states that Ebonhawke gets its water supply from the melting of the snow from the mountains above...which is obviously the Shiverpeaks.
This IS the location of Ebonhawke based on lore alone. No maps.

At this time, there is no such place as "Ebonhawke" in Guild Wars.

But there will be in GW2...which is why we are discussing this...

Ebonhawk is located where Droknar's forge currently is.

The only problem I have with the new Guild Wars 2 map is where the Dragonbrand starts.
Kralkatorrik is said to awake in the Grothmar Wardowns but the Dragonbrand doesn't really start there. Unless Kralkatorrik is so massive that's where say his head was buried or he awoke started to fly for a bit then started the destruction. Or better yet Anet just changed where Kralkatorrik was sleeping.

It also may be part of Guild Wars: Beyond...but most likely will not.

1079 AE - The War in Kryta ends
and good chance this is the current in game date after you complete the WiK content.
1080 AE - King Adelbern of Ascalon recalls the Ebon Vanguard; Ebonhawke is established.
So the dates in game are only 1 year apart from each other. This is another reason why rumors say it may be months before more content comes out.

Well, the next part of GW:B is between Gwen and Thackery. Those 2 help establish Ebonhawke. I doubt we'll see Ebonhawke in-game, but for some reason I bet we help establish it.

I would wager it's on the drawing board. I have doubts as to whether or not it will materialize before GW2 is released.

If the overlay map is correct then why is the dragon brand so far off from where Kralkitorrik starts? If the Dragonbrand is just a natural occurance of the elder dragon flying overhead then why doesn't the scar lead all the way from the charr homeland areas?
