Hi all! I was directed here by a friend (Gwee), who said it would be a good place to offer commissions. So here goes:

I paint digitally (pen + tablet) in a realistic style with attention to detail. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.

Rules
- Let me know your IGN, the details of your commission, and any references you want me to use. Please include multiple screenshots from different angles and at least one close-up of the head. If you request a portrait only, I don't need full body shots.
- I will send you regular updates of the work in progress as I paint.
- You may request changes at any time, however I will make major changes only in the beginning stages, and minor changes in the later stages. If the changes significantly increase my working time, the price of the commission will go up!
- When I am done with the painting, I will show you a size-reduced, watermarked version of the final image.
- Once I have received your payment, I will upload or email you the image as a high-resolution (300 dpi), non-watermarked JPG file (or other file format of choice).
- The artwork is for your personal use only! You may not redistribute, sell, upload or reproduce it in any way without my written permission! However, using it in avatars or forum banners is allowed. I reserve the right to post the finished product in my art galleries.
- I also reserve the right to deny a commission for any reason (though that will rarely happen).
- I have decided I will not paint any NSFW pictures at this time.
- One open slot at a time. Feel free to put yourself on the waiting list.

Prices
NEW:
- 1240x1748 px at 300 dpi = 100k or 14 ectos
- 1748x2480 px at 300 dpi = 150k or 21 ectos
- 2480x3508 px at 300 dpi = 200k or 28 ectos
- All pictures will have a non-distinct, low-detail background (see first three samples). If you want a detailed, complex background (like in the fourth picture), add another 50k.
- Each additional character in the same picture will be another 100k.
- Pets/Minipets are free if there is only one of them. If there are more, add 50k for the second one and each additional one.

'tis a hefty fare you ask, but I can't help temptation. I'll fill that first slot and get this post filled with the appropriate information within the hour.

One belated edit later...

1 additional character and a detailed background, so 300k on this one.
Saer, Face.
Details: Eye color is light blue/cyan.
More soldier than assassin. It is the war she aims to win, and the battle that she fights to get there, not the life of the man she just slew to get there.
Her passion for battle inspires awe in her comrades, and instills fear in her foes.
She comes equipped with styles and ranges of weapons, including a twin pair of katanas, halberd and whatever mechanism suits the purpose of the day's battle.
Other odd refs: 1, 2.
Other requests: Without the headband and mask, and daggers on gloves.

Asereth
Details: Eye color is a dark, navy blue.
Her experience in battle has led her to take positions of command over many in her lifetime. Never has such authority deprived her of fighting on the front lines with her allies, though, and she would gladly die in battle if serving her duty cost her so. Battle hardened and often seen as emotionless, she leads a battle on without fear, and is a token of morale.
She is unrestrained by choice of weapons, but is most often seen wielding a bastard sword.
Other odd refs:
1
Other requests: Without the headband.

The day grows dark, the sun seeks refuge behind the mountain side, painting the valley in between in an orange-red glow as twilight takes over the sky. The battle hewn earth had many a tale to tell of men's valor, a justice fought for one seen as nothing more than the vile goal of conquest by another. The land sought to hide that well, and maintained what it could of the lush colors of nature, with only the hills and rocky outcrops between to bear witness to the history of the area.
Two souls stand resolute, blades held high, and focus unassailable. Their shadows, stiff as stone, speak only of the motions to come. The air gone stagnant, held in their moment of tension draws it's breath, and their blades clash with sparks as the blades grind against the fury of the other. For every swipe, a parry, and every parry, another clash. The two souls, whose lives center around battle, thrust every hardship into the swing of their blade, and fend off every strike for the chance to fight tomorrow's battle. Steel grinds further into steel, sparks sprayed across the sky; their battle has only just begun...

This will quite possibly make the most specific commission request I've made yet. Aches me each time though, pulling out a concept on the spot. I hope I've painted the scene and characters well enough for you, but I would be glad to answer any further questions via PM.

Thanks Invertation, I'll get to it as soon as I can! So you want an action scene, right? I'd love that, it's a nice change from the static poses my characters usually find themselves in. Just to clarify, they fight against each other, not with each other, right?

I'll PM you with a sketch, and more questions probably.

to be fair, the prices is a bit to high for a drawing,as most artists here asks for 100k ~~
though its your chooise, just so you know if you dont get many requests.

I have never done commissions for in-game currency, so I had nothing to go by. I asked my friend for suggestions on pricing, based on what she takes, and on the time and effort involved in such detailed paintings. If it doesn't work out, I'll either adjust pricing or stop offering. *shrugs*

I don't think pricing can be too high. It really depends on for who you are doing this. I, for example, am mostly drawing for myself, to get better. But if you are drawing purely for someone else, and you'd rather drew something else, or actually played guildwars, then its something different. What people tend to forget when they want someone to draw one of their characters, is that the person that actually draws them invests REAL time in that person. So lets say you are able to make 30k an hour in game, then I think you could ask something about that per hour for drawing aswell, and lets say you draw for 8 hours on 1 work then that results in 240k. So in that case I think your prices are fair. I, however, draw oftenly more for myself, because I got a nice idea in mind, and I turn that into a freebie or for tips or something. Some artistethics I found peace with, hope they help you :3

While we're derailing this thread with chat about prices... I do say that the price is steep, as compared to most artists here. But that's also a bit unfair, as it is a time based thing. The artist is dedicating some rather hefty sums of time into a well refined piece, and it's made more realistic to compare it to an hourly job.
Comes down to choice in the end. Choice of the artist to offer the service at their whims, and choice of the commissioner to spoil themselves in that luxury. My apologies for starting such a thing. I should add to this irony that in saying the 200k price was expensive, I opted for 300k.

I do art trades, if you're interested in a trade, my thread is here. I'd love to work with you! If you decide you want to do a trade, I'll post character info as per your format.

I have changed the pricing: additional characters will now be 100k each, because they take up more time than I had anticipated.
