Seems obvious to me. The main advantage of being a dev is that you can pick the skills you like and buff them for the next update.

If you want a serious answer, use serious spelling.

Well I wouldn't say it would be pointless, but I think you'll find the Dervish pale in comparison to a Warrior. Yet, with the comming of the next update...who knows?

i find dervish's very useful i dnt see them as a pale comparison to the warrior class.

1 Don't use an avatar elite no point they maybe good but there's so many more elite skills
2 the holy side of a dervish works well at farming beetle run decayed monsters solo NM and HM
3 The best runners in game by far better then an SF runner
4 The up and coming update may be worth while

that's my 2 cents i hope this helps you with your decision

BTW mine has Max survivor and I didn't use the dungeon cheat either completed all campaigns and eotn on him

I have taken my Derv to Gwamm, and whilst she is arguably not as effective as other classes (I've played them all in my 5 yrs of GW) I found that she was immensely good fun to play the game with.

Along with the ubiquitous Wounding Strike build the various avatar builds, onslaught, Vow of Strength, Ebon Dust, Arcane Zeal and most of the other elites, along with a little imagination, provide enough variation in play to carry you through hundreds, if not thousands of hours play.

Also, Dervs make fantastic runners if you're into that. I still enjoy doing running tours of the Southern Shiverpeaks especially the challenge of running through Icedome with various different sets of skills.

Play Derv.

Its fun.

Derv is my main. I've loved playing dervish since Nightfall came out. But if you're saying they're pointless and you only want to use a scythe. There are some Warrior scythe builds that do some massive damage. But Dervs are just the best.

If you have faith in Anet make a Dervish. Because they might get a well balanced update.

If you have no faith in Anet...DEFINITELY make a Dervish. Because they'll buff them to a ridiculous degree.

If you have very little faith in anet...don't make a Dervish because the buff won't do anything to make them competitive.
