noob in prophicies question
Motor Fist
Is there anyplace where I can see if I have missed doing anything important in the first part of prophecy. I dont want to leave this part without getting everything I need because I was told when I leave I cant come back and I would hate to leave something I need later behind. thanks for your help

There's a link at the bottom of the page here for all the quests and things available there.
It's a pretty place. I still like it there. Have a character I left there. Nice place to relax at times.

Anything you need from that area is still available to you after you leave. However if you want to check you're not missing skills, quests etc, there are more details on the wiki: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Pre-Searing_Ascalon (bottom of the page)

There was a nice guide somewhere of the things you really should do before leaving but I can't find it anymore. However, you could find those useful:
List_of_pre-Searing_trainers
List_of_Prophecies_quests
You really shouldn't miss the skill quests from the trainers, included the one for the Res signet.
Also be sure to be around lvl 7-8 before leaving, as outside there the world is more unforgiving.
If you own EotN as well, you may be willing to do Gwen's quest in pre-searing, she gives you an item that you probably want to have after. You can really live without it, but as you can't come back, if you ever decide you want it...
Maybe also get a belt pouch from a collector? I don't remember how much it costs after, but if you have the components already there, the collector is always cheaper.

Don't be afraid - it doesn't matter if you leave early and miss one quest. Everything you get from quests in the tutorial is possible to obtain sooner or later in the real game as well.
There is one item in the tutorial that is relevant for an optional quest in the Eye of the North expansion, but if you'd like to obtain it later, it is always possible to create a new (temporary) character in the tutorial, only obtain the item, leave the tutorial, give it to your "real" character and delete the temporary character again. The item is the Tapestry Shred you get from Gwen by giving her Red Iris Flowers and/or some other items.

The only thing i would make sure to do is all the quests that give you skills. You get a few useful skills as well as a few not so useful for every profession, it will save you money since the cost of skills at skill trainers increase with every skill you buy.

You might want to bring the Tapestry Shred and Tattered Girl's Cape through from Pre in order to do the EotN "Then and Now, Here and There" Gwen quest.

Make sure you have enough gold to open your storage when you arrive in the future (which is why you can't go back - two years will have passed). You will need 50g for the basic storage and 50g for the materials storage from the Xunlai Agent. This is a one-time charge.
