1 - Why are they so valuable? Isn't the skin pretty crappy?

But why do peoples like the skin? It's just a stick... Probably the worst looking skin in all GW. How is the skin appealing actually? Is it only because it's rare that it's automatically a nice looking skin?
Take by example the Dolyak Prod Staff. The skin is pretty nice with an animated head but it's worth nothing and nobody wants them because they are common.
Do peoples like the Bo staves only because it's rare or because they actually believe the skin looks good?
And even the z chest can't drop them inscripable?

No golden Bo´s in the deep.
Someone told me they nerfed them out couple of years ago.
Been there over and over again. Lots of white and blue, possibly some purples but def. no golden Bo´s.
Maybe you meant Zodiac?
You want legit Bo farm places, search for Minister Cho or Halcyon Job.

p.s. concerning value and demand. They are pretty rare which equals high value in the collector market and you can dye them completely which equals style. That is sometimes all you need for a highend item.

Not every skin drops. Most notably, non-primary attribute Canthan-exclusive staves and scepters do not drop from the Z-chest (i.e. Zodiac, Celestial, Amber, Bo, etc.).

I'm pretty sure I have gotten several celestial weaps from the Z chest. The others though I believe you are correct.

wrong. Plagueborn items don't drop. In addition to the ones others pointed out.
edit: Celestial weapons DO drop from it, I've gotten several shields and axes.
