How much are Armbraces of Truth worth, and would it be better to trade for a tormented weapon?

20-22e, the actual weapons are worth less, because there's no weapon buying choice.

Ok great, I also found a post from a month ago that suggests around 250k-280k, so thats about the same conversion to 20-22 ecto.

How much would a tormented scythe be valued?

That's an old post they aren't worth that much.
I see people selling tormented weapons for 18e which would be 100k+3 to 4e and that depends on the seller usually.
For armbrace I see the average being 20e which would be 100k+5e if you want to pay some cash.
