CLOSED - Thank you [Out] for the guild invitation.
Hello anyone who reads this!! And welcome to my thread where I blab about my experiences etc in search of a Guild!
Since starting GW 3 years ago I’ve always preferred PvE over PvP so I’ve seeked to join PvE guilds. To list a few of the guilds I’ve been in… [DL], [GoE], [icU] you can see that I’ve mainly been in high end elite PvE guilds. I’ve completed every elite area on my main character and many others but I am now in the situation where after a 5/6 month break for A-Level exams I’ve rejoined Guild Wars in search for a long-term PvE guild and i am yet to find one. So far I’ve tried 2 or 3 but they are all less active and experienced than they let on…
But down to the nitty gritty, here’s some facts about my account…
2,389 hours 54 minutes/37 months - Own all campaigns
Devilish Scythe Z - Dervish, Level 20, 11,842,758 xp, 34 months old, Completed everything, 26 Max Titles, (4k drunk, 6k sweet, 2.5k party).
Wize Old Matthias - Monk, Level 20, 2,528,419 xp, 26 months old, Completed Nightfall (Can also participate in UW/FoW/Deep/Urgoz)
Fear Your Souls - Necromancer, Level 20, 1,878,440xp, 33 months old, Completed EotN (But can also participate in UW/FoW/Deep/Urgoz)
Inconspicuous Ghost - Assasin, Level 20, 4,769,888 xp, 34 months old, Completed Factions and EoTN – Essentially an EoTN Dungeon SC’er (But can also participate in UW/FoW)
Spirited Aspect - Mesmer, Level 20, 482,018xp, 22 months old, Completed EotN and Nightfall for DoA essentially. (Can also participate in UW/FoW/Deep/Urgoz)
Pyromaniac Charr - Pre Searing Elementalist
Kentucky Fried Axe - Warrior, Mule
Angelus Pennatus - Paragon... never really got anything with him :/
Kurz/Lux both R4 – Will need to max one or both for GWAMM
Dervish has max SS/LB/EotN ]
Monk has max LB, r7 SS, EotN <4 ] For DoA
Mesmer has r7 SS, r3 LB, EotN <4 ]
I titled hunted with GoE for the majority of my time with them so it is only worth mentioning my Dervish's titles. 26 max titles, most proud of Leg Vanq, working on Sweet/Party/Drunk.
I have a working Mic and Headset for vent and I’ve always preferred to chat during runs as I find it calms the group down and is a way of socialising.
Previous Guilds and reasons for leaving:
[GoE] was my first elite pve guild, i was with them for about a year and a half. I left because the guild unfortunately disbanded after a long time of greatness
[icU] - Joined after GoE. With them for about a year. We held the guild record for DoA for roughly 6 months ~ Had a period of inactivity and decided to stop playing GW for a few months and hence had to leave the guild.
[DL] - With these for about 4 months had to leave due to prioritising A Level Exams.
All three of these guilds really had a sense of community whereby everyone knew everyone by their real names and personalities which made everything work much better together.
The rest of my guilds were short term and were really just for 'in-between guilds' of which I found had a much weaker ‘community feeling’. They were still always PvE such as [SNOW], [Agro] etc..
So, about me, I’m 18 years of age, live in the UK and have a twin brother who has never played Guild Wars I love Singing. I'm in alot of Choirs supporting my school, county and Country and have travelled across Europe singing. I also love ocean life - Whales, Sharks, Dolphins etc! I'm going to study Marine Biology in a South Wales university next year. I recently came back from a 3 week expedition in Madagascar as part of a community project! This was amazing as not only did it really change my life and make me feel proud of the help i have given a community out there, but i also got the bonus of seeing 2 humpback whales when we went out into the indian ocean!
My most treasured GW story was when me and a great friend of mine (IGN Trylle Uten Hender – if you’re out there somewhere mate I’d love to get back in touch) were vanquishing Lornar's Pass. We were looking for the last mob for hours and whilst doing so, were trying to keep a 10 minute scroll up. This led to us frantically searching for bears and different 'friendly' creatures to slay. The ventrilo was hilarious and full of laughter, we had such a blast!!
So yeah, I hope anyone who reads this gets a decent idea of my experience in gw and my personality and attitude towards the game. I’d like to emphasise now that I’m a relaxed gamer who can play seriously with high expectations but with a casual, laid back take on the whole thing. I love to have a laugh on vent whilst doing so.
I’m looking for an ACTIVE, Experienced guild with an ACTIVE pve alliance to join in and really feel welcome. I enjoy really getting to know the members in the guild rather than just see them as good PvE’ers who can fill a party slot.
I hope someone has the offer I’m looking for!
Thank You!
