they're not used for anything, right?

Monster crafting materials, Rubies and Sapphires don't currently have a use, however there is speculation that these materials may be used for an upcoming armor update or may be used for CH2 armors.

More people are catching on and people are beginning to hoard these materials, if you closely observe the prices at the rare material trader prices are slowly rising.

Btw, isn't Wintersday over? why are you farming skulls..

Not odd i have got them in various areas throughout the game. IMO save it as the price will rise. I think before the sorrows furnace update they were at 1k each O.O
