Honoring the Hunter's Moon

The full moon shows her face 13 times a year and each face has a different name. From the Wolf Moon at the beginning of the year to the Strawberry Moon that heralds the long days of summer. Each phase brings its own challenges as well as rewards.

For many of the people of Tyria, Elona and Cantha, arguably the most important of these faces is the Hunter’s Moon.
Winter can be harsh for those that live off the land and each tribe’s hunters need to make sure they have caught enough food to last their families through the short days and long, freezing nights.
The Hunter’s Moon is the full moon of October and once every year the hunters ask her blessing in the hope of gathering enough food to let their families survive the cold and long winter.

The Moon however does not hand out her blessing to just anyone and hunters must make a point of honouring her with a celebration that stretches back through the generations to the days of their ancestors.
You will have to participate in the celebration honoring the Hunter’s Moon if you too are to receive this blessing.

We of Honoring the Moon invite you to our celebration of Honoring the Hunter's Moon. We are holding the Celebration in Serenity Temple (south east from Ascalon) in the international districts on 23rd of October from 20:00 till 23:00 BST. The DJ's from the GW-EN will be supporting us with some awesome music and some of the top Alliances in Guild Wars are donating prizes to give out to competition winners.

I'm sure you have all heard of Honoring the Hunter's Moon.
We of Honoring the Moon, the organising party of Honoring the Hunter's Moon are organising a meeting for interested parties and people dedicated to helping us. This will all be this sunday at 6:30 pm BST, on the TIG-ventrilo server: ventrilo1.ldn.powervs.com, port: 5041 ask me in-game for the password, in the Events channel.
If interested in either helping, donating or just coming around you are welcome to join us.
