On the topic of old runes, there are major runes with -50 health floating around. Obviously they're only good for collectors.

Yup, I've got a few of the +2 -50hp runs (water, e-stor, and marksmanship off the top of my head).

If we're moving towards "old collector items that seem weird to use nowadays" you can't forget Jade Wind Orbs, Naga Fangs, and Zaishen Medallions.

I'm not talking about those nerf runes btw, the sup vigor i got is same as the one you can get from the trader but thing is The name ''Sup Vigor'' is not written in gold trim but blue, Also you know the look between sup and minor rune? the sup vigor i got is at minor rune appearance.

Anyone seem it before?

I'm going to be obnoxious and ask if you're sure it's a sup vigor... :P

I've seen a few "glitched" runes with the same sort of mistakes - text color and inventory pics are wrong. Nothing to worry about.

Well all those items are just common drops from 2005, nothing special..

I have a red dye worth 25g. Still don't know why and if it is special:P

you sure it aint dye remover which just shows as red? theres alot of those around and theyre valued 25g i think?

All information I have, dunno if it is a dye remover, it's just a red dye, My friend told me he got it as a drop in the early 2005. It won't stack with my other red dyes.

Those weird runes aren't glitched, they just have dropped before certain updates. There are 3 kinds of 'odd' runes:

* Major and Superior runes with the icon of a Minor rune are fairly rare, that's how runes dropped during first 3-4 weeks since GW release. A Sup Vigor from that time is especially nice. I got a Superior Axe rune like this (actually selffound back then and after the furst rune update I've decided to keep it and never sell, knowing it will be a nice oddity item in a couple years)

* Major and Superior runes with the right icon but with a blue name are much more common as they have been dropping this way for about 4.5 months. I have also kept just 1, this one even still unidentified (sup ele rune).

* Major runes with -50hp were available for years but almost never used by anyone so not many of them exists (rarity is on par with the blue name superiors). Back when 55hp farming/running builds were popular, those -50 runes actually HAD a use - swap armor set pieces in case you died - swapping from a -75 to a -50 rune was slightly better than swapping your cesta to a -20hp focus. This use was the reason why I've kept only a few MONK +2/-50s.


Oh, and dyes with 25g merch value are how the Nightfall quest reward dyes were like for the first couple weeks(?). They were not a drop. They were later fixed because people complaied (rightfully) that they don't stack with normal dyes of that type. I have found them to be an annoyance more than a rarity and haven't kept any.

The glitched Gray Dye (that looks bright red) is something different, although it does have the 25g merch value aswell (just like all Gray Dyes). BTW I have a couple of those, might want to trade/sell

I'm not certain, but I remember the reward dye from this quest was always unusual - didn't stack with dyes from other sources, etc. Maybe the value was different too? Also this one...

HOD helm that somehow survived the nerf? So it's any different than just a Templar Helm with Lieutenant's Insignia? Screenshot please.
