Changing a Factions character secondary profession?
vader
Is Senji's Corner the only place a Factions character can change their secondary profession? I created a Ritualist / Monk that I'm going to go for Survivor on and I really don't want to take her through the Vizunah Square mission (cutscene mainly) if I don't have to.

As far as I know, you can take that character to prophs and go beat the doppleganger for ascension. Then you can change professions in the GTOB or the Sunspear Sanctuary after you do prisoners of war.
Although i'm not sure if a factions character needs to become weh no su before they can change or if they can just go to prophs, maybe someone who is sure can confirm

You can change your secondary in Nightfall after completing Hunted!
Then do Prisoners of War to make the NPCs appear in the Command Post.
You can be from any campaign to do this, to my knowledge, as I have never heard otherwise and think I have done it for my ritualist

Can you not also travel to the Great Temple of Balthazaar and change your profession from the Profession trainer in the back?

I'm pretty sure you can only use that one IF you already have ascended in some way already.

Oh. You are most likely correct I think I remember something like that now. Then yeah, either get a run ot the desert and kill your Doppleganger or do the Hunted! quest with Prisoner of War

Changing secondary prof:
Prophecies: after ascension (Augury Rock mission), in one of three desert outposts.
Factions: after Closer-to-the-Stars (Nahpui Quarter mission), in Senji's Corner.
Nightfall: after Hunted! and Prisoners-of-War in the Command Post.

I was unable to change the 2nd profession of my sin even after i defeated my Doppleganger and completed The Hunted. I wasn't able to change it until after I did the Naphui Quarter Mission.
If I am correct, the only way to change your characters 2nd profession is by following the method in the campaign that the character was created. Prophecies = Defeat your Doppleganger, Factions = Complete Naphui Quarter Mission, and Nightfall = Complete The Hunted quest.
But I could be wrong.

I'm just curious, but why do you want to change your secondary? Normally my bar is full of rit skills (or PvE skills for that matter)
If you have EotN, I'd recommend Fronis Irontoe's Lair - it's the easiest (and most boring) way to get survivor - unless you want to REALLY EARN that title.

I'm pretty sure only NF characters can ascend through Hunted!, but I also believe that any campaign character can ascend via Dopple or Weh no Su.

Also, it is far better for a survivor to ascend through Prophecies, because you get a whopping huge XP bonus (50,000 XP) for defeating the dopple if you haven't already ascended. I ascended my survivor rit through Prophecies, so I guarantee it can be done.
Still, if you can find someone you can trust to synch with you on Vizuneh, then it is a good idea to do it after you ascend. There are a lot of high-XP quests beyond it and on into Luxon and Kurzick territory. Those go a long way towards survivor if you're planning to do it by quests/missions/skill caps. And there are a lot of good skills to cap, as well.

When in game type /wiki profession changer in the chat box and a page will pop that will tell you who all the profession changers are and where they can be found.

What prevents you from going all hero/henchmen in some unused district, and leaving if you get another player in the opposing party? Then you can safely skip the cut scene.
