It was an ominous addition to gw. Nickle-and-diming wasn't part of their original business model. Real cash for in-game stuff is borderline offensive to me, but I have to say I see enough players strutting around with their War in Kryta costumes. So it is likely helping their revenue.
As long as they complete gw2 before 2D computer screens are obsolete, I guess I can forgive them.

Actually it's not a bad deal. Now.. if you look at it in a really cynical way, you're spending 10 bucks to change some codes in a database that build how your character looks all by yourself. But anyways.. I think it's well spent. If you really want to change how your character looks I think 10 bucks is well spent even for one. We don't pay monthly fees for this game, be grateful for that. Very grateful.

I'm still not too thrilled having to run a whole charge if all you really want is a simple change to hairstyles. This is something that should have been set up a long time ago paying with in game gold, but anet's got the idea of doing things so ***-backwards in this regard as I suppose it "interferes" with their profits.
Well **** yo couch I say. Go buy another one.
Yeah, a lousy one at that.
