It's a place-holder date. And probably wrong since they're revealing the Professions about one every month, and they've got 4 professions left to go.
Until A-Net or NCSoft announce the release date, don't believe anyone else.

The kid who told you that is getting paid minimum wage, and he doesn't play gw. But he DOES know how to read the calendar.

Many sites that sell games need to enter a release date to make a game available for pre-orders in their system. This has led to many rumors about the release date over the last few years. Other sites then copy this incorrect information, making it seem true. Yet just last week, at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, ArenaNet constantly stated at every interview that the game would be released "when it's ready."
When ArenaNet announces a release date, there will be no need to ask if it is true. The news will be headlined in every forum and gamer news site.

Also, this belongs on the GW2 Forums, not GW1 Forum.

Another one of these eh. If you ever seeone of these, especially with no official word on places like Gamespot, it's just a placeholder at best.
