Has anyone gotten this skin (sacred staff) on a max item?

It was a possible drop during Nightfall Preview event but I haven't seen any of them since then.

Since then I haven't seen any of them and a good/max one would surely hit the trade forums and would be widely known. Because I haven't spent more than a couple hours total in Istan, I can't completely deny the possibility of a very low stat one, likely white/blue, dropping from something nobody would think of farming, but that's very unlikely.

Time to hit Istan Hard mode?

At least for me the staff on your screenshot looks like it has an INHRENT halves recharge time mod under the dmg-mod..... just like the "prenerf-staves"... =)

The staff "nerf" was short before the nightfall release. And the nightfall preview event was short before nightfall release as well. So it's possible (I'm not sure on the exact dates) that the nightfall preview event happened before the staff "nerf"/change. Were people allowed to keep those preview items? If so there might be some pre-nerf inscr. staves around - that would be sexy

hmm okay... i thought that this staff nerf/buff/change/whatever update was a good time before nf release.
I just have never seen any (other) "Elonian" skin with inherent mods thats why i was kinda confused....

Interesting things dropped during that event, if you haven't played then you missed seeing things like this:

But unfortunately they didn't let us keep the characters made then, they did a wipe. If they didn't and we would have been able to keep everything from that event like we did in EotN one, I'd be a happy user of this bugged piece:

As for hitting Istan in the search of it, I'd try going solo in Normal Mode into areas that nobody would think of farming (maybe in a mission), looking for Monk mobs and most importantly watching all the white drops. A white would suggest a chance for a gold, in HM, from that same source. But I think all the vanquishing people cleared all the Istan enough times to get a gold one drop for them so if it exists in a droptable of something, it has to be something really obscure, like Skale Lord Jurpa (quest-only boss, does he even drop weapons at all?)
