Hai..After reading some threads about GW2 and this point system, am i wasting my time making a gwamm #2? Would two GWAMM's on the same account be double the points or should i just enjoy the game instead of going through all the hard work?
thnx in adv.
GWAMM x2

Until Anet release that report on exactly how it'll work, we don't know. I wouldn't waste my time until I know for sure that it'll be worthwhile. Also, I don't think anything related to GWAMM giving GW2 benefits has been confirmed either, so if you're looking for more points you're probably better off putting more/rarer stuff in your HoM (assuming that's the way it works, which once again isn't a given).

You are more than likely wasting your time if you're grinding out a second GWAMM only for GW2. Since its account based I very much doubt that any repeats will give you anything at all.
We don't even know what you get yet, the speculation I think most likely is extra weapon skins or equally unimportant little exras. It would be completely unfair to give something actually useful (such as powerful statted weapons or armor) to only people who have GW1 and have completed X long pain in the butt title/title set/monument.
So just go enjoy whatever it is you enjoy doing.

Since they made the Account wide HoM update, I doubt that duplicate titles/armors/weapons will give you anything...

What he said.
It's all just speculation. We don't even know for sure that GWAMM is part of the calculation, though it certainly should be. But I would think the only way they would want to reward multiple GWAMMs is if they really loved making us grind, and needed to keep us playing gw1 after gw2 came out. I can't think of a reason they would want to shoot themselves in the foot like that.

There is a switch to turn it to individual also, why add the switch? why not just permanent Account wide. But then, guess we have to wait and see.

Because unless you use a tapestry in your characters' HoM you won't be able to put anything of that character in that HoM except titles. So if you want to display all the armors on your account for example and only 1 char has the obby armor, you have to go to your characters HoM view, use a tapestry then display the armor. Only then does it became available for your entire account. At, least, that's what I think.

On topic, it is account wide. So work on getting statues for your Hall that you haven't gotten on less played characters without worry that they will revert back to per character unlocks for gw2. One of the devs said last week that they will release info on the HoM "VERY SOON". I'd get you the link, but the thread is here on guru.
We'll just have to see. But guessing at a logical point of view, I'd probably have to say "no".
In the end, if you want to have a second GWAMM, I more than recommend it if it'll keep you playing and/or enjoying Guild Wars. Heck, I have 2 GWAMMs and I might or might not make a third just so I can have something to (re-re-)accomplish.

Thanks for the info guys..It did seem silly making a second gwamm, just for the sake of having the title on my monk, he is over 1/2 way there and i keep questioning myself..do i really need another gwamm? It looks like i need to focus my attention to titles that i haven't already gotten. War in Kryta has kept me busy lately, and when i get bored of that i might just try and finish it anyway, just for the title.
