White Mantle Ritualist

I had a wierd issue occur with my 55 monk.

It was in the Riverside Province 'mission' and I was fighting 2 justiciar's and a ritualist.

Nothing abnormal going on. I had Mending (+4 health regen), Balthazar's Spirit (+1 energy per hit), and Watchful Spirit (+2 health regen; +health when it ends) up and running.

The 2 justiciar's die at the same time and the ritualist, who I had targetted the entire time so I was watching what he was doing, drops a Well of the Profane. All my enchants drop and I'm IMMEDIATELY dropped to 1 health.

I run like the wind

I end up dying, not sure how since the ritualist NEVER attacked me physically.

My health bar wasn't green and I never saw the ritualist use Rotting Flesh on me.

Is it possible that the health gain from Watchful Spirit is what dropped me to 1 health? In a wierd sort of way?

Anyone else ever experience anything wierd like this?

ritualist usually uses mark of subversion first on monks... which kills a 55 monk if you trigger it

i don't know why you would be dropped to 1hp though... did you have any degen on you?

I had no detectable degen.

..and Mark of Subversion is blocked by Protective Spirit as long as you're already under its protection.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that I hit a bugged situation somehow. Maybe the game thought I died so gave me 15% DP (I was focused on running so wasn't paying attention to the corners of the screen) but I was actually still alive. I dunno.

It happened the moment my enchants dropped so it couldn't have been Vampiric Gaze or anything like that.

that is odd. idk exactly y u would drop 2 1hp. proly just a glitch in the game. casue ive had that happen but never dropped me too 1hp.
