Battle For Lion's Arch... Possible..?
xXFallenBladeXx
So I've joined a little late in the WiK event, and not to many people are willing to still do the quest. I was wondering, is it possible to beat this quest H/H? And if so, what kind of strategy do you guys recommend?
Black Metal
it is pretty difficult to do it h&h because the henchment are level.......what, 12? They aren't infused and get totally owned. This has been a concern of mine, that as time goes on it will be increasingly difficult to find at least one partner to fill out the 8 man team.
I'd suggest waiting for the weekend when hopefully a lot of Americans are playing, or posting in the PUG forum to set up a time with a few people. Or find a helpful person who's done it already but will help.

Heroes and henchmen
* Henchmen will be infused at the same time as player characters in the Iron Mines of Moladune mission, are infused beginning with the Thunderhead Keep mission, and are infused during War in Kryta even if you haven't reached Thunderhead Keep yet.
* Heroes are always infused. This makes the dealing with the Mursaat and Jade constructs easier before you have had the opportunity to get infused yourself.
* Pets are always infused.

Thanks guys
It's kinda funny, but after posting this thread, I was invited by another player. We brought heroes, planned out the battle and won. So it's definitely do-able with 2 humans and heroes.
It was fun, I'm just glad that battle is over

it's totally doable with another player and heroes in 19-21 minutes.

its hard to solo h/h imo
the problem with it is that u r basically fighting with 4, not 6. infused or not, those level 10 heroes got headspot every 10 secs. That's about NM, HM u get level 20, but its HM....

It's doable in nm with h/h. Tons of peoples did it including me.
Nobody have been able to h/h it in hm yet though.

If you're doing normal mode, I would just skip the henchmen and all the healing you'd have to waste on them. It's not like lvl 12s are going to contribute anything significant anyway.
Darcy
Sure they do, they are warm bodies to distract opponents.
MithranArkanere
I made it with 3 heroes and no henchmen.
It's all about where you stand. Always put something between you and the enemy.

1st & only time I tried it was with h/h and failed, it's so long winded though, I always manage to find something else to do
Wish Swiftdeath
