Yes, it does. It is Core so can drop anywhere. If it drops in Prophecies or Factions, then it will not take an inscription.

As its a core skin, it can drop anywhere, everywhere,from anything.
but as Darcy said, factions/proph= no inscript.
its a fairly common drop in Eotn, and you could easely find one by doing some dungeons & opening the locked chest there!

And just because something drops in a campaign doesnt mean it drops in gold at max damage. Crystalline blades drop in underworld, but not Gold and Max now do they?

Some Players say they exist and many Players say that they dont exist.
But: i never saw any screen of such a weapon, so thats why im asking if they exist or not.

I firmly believe that these and ball hammers and tribal blades do not exist as gold max oldschool. I would be thrilled to be proven wrong.
