Need some help please

Anyone else have this problem? so I was playing when the game said I had to purchase the game when I bought the Disc game from frys. I logged out thinking it might fix it but I couldnt login I even reset my password and tried that but no I couldnt login. I didnt see if theres a playing when you buy the game on disc? doesnt make sense but its possible, i dont know. so yeah anyone else had this problem before?

I love this game but I cant play it, and prolly get GW2. sorry off topic but in GW2 the solo thing still in effect?

When you bought the game, what did you do? I'm guessing you made a trial account a little while ago, bought the game, put the disk in and thought that was it. That's not what you're supposed to do. You don't need the disk for anything. It's not what you pay for. What you need is the cd key (something like ABCDE-12345-FGHIJ-67890). Add that to your account (when you log in there is an 'edit account' button). Once you add that to your account what you bought will be added to the account. That should fix your problem.

Btw, don't get what you mean by 'the solo thing'.

like when yo exit a town you go into solo mode or private world.

Not sure on this, but I think GW2 will be a lot more persistent, but it'll still have instanced areas.

do you mean "add serial code"? cause I dont see a edit account.

I created an account from the game login screen. my username got changed from my email I dont know I will check that.

well okay now i tried everything I know so to beable to play, WHy does this thing have to be so confusing??? Im used to entering my Key when you launch the game or before you launch, Like wow, but I guess its not the same so If I dont get this resolved I will not try to play anymore and would be a waste of money. dont know if I will get GW2.

Jah as others on here have been saying when you get to to the Login Screen there is an edit account or add access key option on the login screen. it is above the reses password option. and with your game you should have gotten a cd key somewhere within the package that your game disk came in. thats the best I or anyone else can do for you on guru if this still doesn't work you could try contacting support.

There's always the possibility that you entered the wrong key when you created the account. The game may have come with a "buddy key" - a trial account key - which you entered instead of the proper full game key.Check the stuff that came with the game to make sure you got the right key - the proper key will be on a scratch-off card, or in a little tear-to-open packet, or some such thing.
