Guild Wars wants to be my Facebook friend.

Question to the peeps here, has anyone ever had Guild Wars try to add them as a friend on Facebook?

Is this legit or am I tiptoeing my paranoia on my account security?

That's exactly what I was thinking.

EDIT 2: I checked out this "Guild Wars" account on my cell phone, turns out they have a GW2 logo image, and about 50 friends and is less than 24 hours old. Seems pretty fishy, blocked them from my phone.

I would be paranoic has you, since there are many tries of hacking accounts.....i wouldn't accept....

Fan pages in Facebook don't actually look for fans, it's fans that look for them

so: i wouldn't accept!

I'd report to Support via [email protected] and put FAKE GW2 FACEBOOK in the subject line. ArenaNet will have Facebook shut them down as the Guild Wars name and all the logos are trademarked.

And that's all there is to it, really.
